I happen to work next door to a sign/decal maker. Kind of like a Signs Now only he's an independent company. He's a bit of a motorcycle guy as well and lives/works out of the same building. I could show him these pics and see if he could make decals out of them. Would probably need to know how big people want them so let me know if anyone is interested. |

Thats no problem Cord. How does the pricing look to everyone. Is this something that is still of interest? |

Aron - great logos... I like the ribbon from 2nd and the "PBR" from 1st example. Count me in for a couple of shirts, prices are good. |

Be careful, PBR is the Professional Bull Riders and of course Pabst Blue Ribbon. But the PBR, Bull Riders uses the PBR logo in on their merchandise. |

Looks good. We just need to get a list of willing contributors to the initial batch of shirts. |

I counted 15 shirts. If we can get 10 more commitments the cost would be $11.20/shirt if we buy a 25 qty lot. This includes the screens for two logos. Additional charges may apply if the front logo needs some work. |

maybe we could have a group email sent out to the buell club to generate more commitments or is that oversteppin' boundries? (Message edited by billetmetallic on August 11, 2007) |

Can we get any size or are they only going to be available in adult? I'm thinking my kids would like some. That would count me in for at least 4 or 5. |

I don't see why not Jim. One of these weekends I will have to sit down and finish the art work so that we can get going on this. We will need to come up wit ha different text for the front logo so it's not s rip off of the Bull riders logo. |

Who are you worried about offending? |

No one. Not sure of the laws involved in using someone else exact abbreviation and FONT on other merchandise. If we just change the FONT, there should be no issue? or am I off on this? Either way. if any one has time to work on the small front logo for a crisper cleaner image you are more then welcome. |

Font change should work, I'm not sure who we picked up the Buell Riders" from anyhow... |

To keep cost down what about just something simple for the front. keep in mind that every color is a new screen and setup cost.

That would be a good idea. What about using the same font from
That way front and rear match a little better. Did any one run this idea past the Buell Club? Costs could come down even more with larger orders, right? (Message edited by hergy916 on August 24, 2007) |

That would be no problem. We talked about it a little. There was a very small turn out and everyone there was willing to get one. (only 4 of us) Maybe Roc can send out a e-mial request with the final design. |

We are at he point where we need to walk into the store, pick the shirts, finalize the design with the shop and get final pricing to everyone. Then we can collect money and make the purchase. Maybe on the way home from Saturday's ride I can stop in and talk with them in person. |

Latus is willing to sponsor our PBR group shirts as long as we are willing to carry their logo as well as ours. We can have ours on the back as a large log and Latus as the smaller one over the left chest. There are other options as well. Possible on the sleeve etc. What do you guys think? |

Wish I could have been there Sat. Sounds like things went well. I'm all for supporting a dealership that supports it's products. My experience with Buell dealerships has been so-so and so far have not dealt with one that I would support by wearing there name. The dealer I bought my bike from was very good, but not much Buell support in there store. I'm sure everyone here has read the horror stories on this site as well as others or possibly had there own bad experiences. The only experience I've had with Latus is meeting other riders in their parking lot. I trust you guys though and if everyone else is good with it, then I'm all for it. |

in addition to their devotion to selling the buell motorcycles, we got an in depth look at their "custom" shop, and these guys are into buell. It is very apparent that they are very serious about creating new and unique high performance componants specifically for the xb and also the 1125r, as well as racing them, with that kind of dedication to buell i would be proud to wear their logo. |
