Looks like I will be MIA all this week due to work. Does anyone know if the buell motor has a knock sensor (to retard spark)??? Been thinking more about the ping issue. |

Does it ping a lot? Have you tried a different brand of fuel QT vs. Gulf or Phillips 66? I would allow that a knock sensor is in place, to allow the ECM to adjust the timing curves, I will consult the service and parts manuals to be for sure. Chase,it sounds good to me, I'll probably end up with a drummer anyway, this will get me through. I bet I can figure it out. I'll call up Jardine or Dennis Kirk to see about a repack kit. Thanks! |

Not yet, waiting on a repack kit to come in the mail. I might(read that as will) put it on tomorrow for general principle. Waiting on a baffle for my force header on my X-1 too, wow they are LOUD...and to think, I have one of those headers for an XB too...?!? I did make a clear breather top for an XB, then another with the dimple, but I got some small bubbles in the plexiglas from the heat, looks okay though...I'll snap some pics when I get the pipe on. Thanks |

Hey, any of you guys ever thought of putting pepper spray on your Buell? I have been kicking around the idea of a little nitrous, wonder if anybody makes a kit for the XB's? |

Sorry for the late notice, but there is a ride tomorrow (Sunday) that I just found out about. Meet @ QT I44 & 161st 9:00 a.m. From there, we'll head East to Spavinaw and Jay for some twisties. Show up if you wanna come. I will be there unless another storm comes rolling through again. Check here tomorrow morning before you leave for a status update. |

It has a nice deep tone, not too raspy. Works for me. I still wouldn't mind having a drummer, and maybe a drummer for my X-1, that force header is LOUD. But, now, my X-1 is a wheelie king. |

Chase, any chance you could send me the directions for the muffler repack? Mainly which end to take apart, I thought they were gona' send me some, Jardine sent me the wrong ones(not for an RT1, and not for a repack either). Thanks |

Drake, Need advice on tires for track days. I am running Pirelli Diablos with about 65% tread left, with the usual OKC flat spot down the middle. Do you think I can get two days at Hallett out of them? Brian. |

Brian, I would say you will probably be fine. You will be on the sides of the tires most of the time anyway. |

If you need a key for your Buell, Holders Lock and Key can make you one for less then $5.00. This seems like a deal after paying $25.00 for a pair from HD. |

the new 1125r motor looks like the real deal, 150 HP! what does that leave us with "timeless classics" or "outdated iron" |

Well, that rotax inspired engine marks a severe step away from Harley, and at the same time, that concretes in the models I will mess with. Slipper clutch sure, 150 Hp, cool, like the dash and fairing, the radiators look a little like an after thought, drive on the left. We shall see. Glad they are making those strides. |
