I've got a free pass all day Saturday... I can do a long ride if we want! Where Where Where... South Side of Mt. Saint Hellens? I've never been there but hear it's great. As of the the web says there is a slight chance or rain in the early morning, clearing up about lunch. |

I'm trying to gather some information on a recently reported "road with turns that never end and it totally clean!" I'm game for whatever though. Paul, I'm in the office today and will be looking for coffee between 8 and 8:30. |

Paul, I took the kids for a drive on St. Hellens after talking to you guys about it and it all looks good. They've added a new St. Hellens look out up there just past Eagle Cliff which is pretty nice. Great Kodak moment. Anyway, weather permitting, I'm in for whatever. If you guys ever want to head up that way, just let me know. |

I have as much time as I/we need. I can tell ya that HWY 47 between Banks and St. Helens is clean. |

We may join, however if so don't allow us to be out front. We did that ride to Mount St. Helens last summer and we were a ticket waiting to happen (if we are talking about the same sweeping fun corners). |

It figures! The day you guys plan an awesome ride I can't make it. This is the last weekend for Baseball, then my Saturday's will be open for the most part. |

Aron, I wouldn't worry about that. I usually make several trips up that way each summer, so I'm sure you'll get another chance. |

I've been reminded I have a wedding to attend on Saturday... So much for a long haul, at least for me. |

I'll be at Gators in Tigard between 7-730am. I have no destination in mind. I'm game for whatever fits everyones schedule. I'll be there unless it is raining hard at 7am. Cord 503 720-8037 cell |

At this point, I'm thinking I'm out. I have been informed that I may have some kind of plans since it is my b-day and unless I wake up to a day that is just too nice not to go riding, I'll probably just wait until next week. |

Happy belated B-Day Jim, I didn't forget, I didn't know. LOL ^_^ It turned out to be just Graham and myself, him on his S1 and me on my City-X. We took off ofter breakfast and WEAK coffee, headed towards Tualitin/Sherwood on some roads I don't know. Graham led us up to Bald Mtn. Gorgeous ride and beautiful scenery, I was trying not to get to distracted looking at the view! We popped out at a junction for 219, we opted to head towards Newberg via 99W, cut North in McMinnville to enjoy HWY47. West in Forest Grove, pit stop at Dutch Brothers for some real coffee, then rode through FG via HWY 8 to HWY6 (reverse of our ride Aron), then 6 back to 47, 47 South just shy of FG, then cut out on Martin Rd. to Corneilus/Shefflin Rd through the backroads and revisited my crash site. We parted ways at HWY26 and Jackon School RD. All in all about 110 miles, great fun! Yall milled out! Don't forget, Rocky's meeting is tomorrow night at 7PM, the Ram. Tuesday nights just don't work for me. Cord, I rode hwy26 - hwy6 - hwy 8 - 47 loop Sunday. Had two close calls.. A guy on a cruiser was nice enough to hand signal me to slow down just in time of a speed trap on hwy6. The second one was on hwy 8 just as I passed a silverback there was another cop car around the corner. Lucky for me he was busy talking to another person along the side of the road. |

...i can't make it tonight either on account of deadlines at work. I hope to be able to catch up with (and actually meet) some of you as soon as i get a chance. I still think the idea of the saturday morning rides is a great one, even though i've missed every single one so far...sucks! It looks like it's going to rain again this saturday morning, but if not - i'll TRY to make it again (though my track record is less than stellar at this point...) |

Only a 20% chance.. Odds are in our favor. There is also a 10:00 Buell ride out of Paradise this Sunday. |

"Tuesday nights just don't work for me.", don't worry Aron I'll go to the meetings and you can go on the ride on sunday, because sundays don't work for me. Be prepared for sundays route it's called "winging it". |

Anyone ever done one of the Buell rides? Do they get a good turn out? Is this a sign that Paradise actually supports Buell? I wasn't given that impression in my dealings with them. Sure would like to be wrong about that. |

Saturdays are a long shot but at least Sundays are doable(patent#500254). In the mean time I have been taking 2-4 hr rides on Mondays, so I still get to ride at least once a week. Hergy, it is not exactly Paradise that sets up these meetings, it is Rocky from the service department, although Paradise makes a good start point because of breakfast. As far rides go I haven't gone yet but attendance is up at the meetings so I would figure ride participants would increase also. Expect maybe 5-10 this week based off the Tuesday dinner, there is over 60 on the Email list so who knows if a bunch just show up for the ride. |
