Anyone have a spare brake light housing? While chopping my tail I broke mine, and need one before Friday. I am speaking of the gray plastic housing, with the clear lens for the license plate. One of the clip for the wires broke. if not I'll have to have my dealer 2-day one I guess. Thanks all! Chase (Message edited by Nasty73z on June 04, 2007) |

Sounds good to me, I'm down for breakfast. What time? I would want to get started at a decent time, here's the deal: They are going to dyno my bike in the morning, then put it in service to replace the TPS sensor in the afternoon. I'm going to borrow a TT to do the skills course on. |

I am good, if you can do the TPS reset(got an XB12R with a new race kit and a couple of trips around the block), it will decide which bike I'll take. I got a race ECM for my X-1, but, I need, it needs to be "turned on?" It runs, no odometer or turn signals. I-44 an 193rd at 10 AM sounds good to me. I'll bring my Firebolt if you can make it happy, it seems to run good, just wanna' be sure. |

I had a great time! I think the dyno left a few of us (well maybe two lol) wanting to find more performance. Brian thanks for your hospitality and your bike seriously looks killer. And Jason your moto fleet is equally bad ass, wish I had a lightning and some firebolts! Plus you have the most powerful bike in the group LMAO. Who would've thought. Oh and let Billy and Brett know that they should come around more often on BUELLS! Hope they got let with a great impression of the harley-like camaraderie that these bikes owners have, plus how much fun they are. Can't wait 'til the next time guys. |

Well, if that ride wasn't the best way to infect people with the raw, usable enjoyment of Buells, I don't know what would be? I am pretty sure both Brett & Billy have got the bug! By the way, the four wide power roll-ons...that is why I used to drag race! As for the power and dyno...I am still a little stumped?!?! Let me know when the Hallet deal is, I'll have to pick up a set of pants and real race style gloves. Seriously, that one goes in the book for "Great all time rides" |

Just wondering if any one was pinging during the 60mph roll-ons? Mine did'nt chirp once. I'am thinking my base timming (static) could use some advance. Any thoughts? Brian |

Drake, Could you post, what we will need for Hallett. Gear, tire presure, passing rules. (or getting lapped in my case) To bad you couldn't make the ride,no one had any fun. Brian (86) |

I have not had any ping issue with my Uly (4500 miles)stock. From what I read on the board, if it is going to happen it will be on a grade at steady throttle. |

Mike, just trying to brain storm be for Direct Link is needed. My stock ecm would ping on roll-ons,thinking lean fuel curve. This race ecm should fuel enough. I'm not shure if the ecm over rides the static timing when the motor is at higher rpms. I'll go to the KV valt and research. Thanks for your insite Mike. Brian86 |

For Sale - used polished Jardine RT-1 for Buell XB9/12, nice condition. The bottom of the can has normal wear from riding (no dents), can could use a good polish and it will probably need a repack soon. Brackets for chin spoiler included. $150.00 Just wanted to offer it here before I put it in the classifieds, plus it would be great to not have to ship it! Let me know if anyone's interested. |

Brian, Everything you need to know is on Hallett's website. http://www.hallettracing.net/ If you already have Leathers, there is really not much else you need. The gear/protection is the expensive part. Did Josh, at cycle connection, say if we need to sign up for the Buell Track day? Drake |
