2-6 June 2007 Mecca of Motorcycling Vacation Opportunity http://www.fontanavillage.com/accommodations/accom modations.htm I will be riding down on Saturday 2 June and coming home Wednesday 6 June for a total of 4 nights. I have a non-refundable deposit down on a Camp Cabin at Fontana Village about an hour south of Knoxville, TN. I will be in a 2 bedroom/ 1 bath, of which, 1 bedroom will be vacant. This could be a very inexpensive vacation for a couple ($35 a night) or 2 buddies $17.50 each per night). Note: $30 extra for a linen pack (sheets/towels) if you don't bring your own! Let me know! C ya, Chad |

Love to go Chad, but I can't make it. I wont be at the meeting next weekend either, I've got a weekend job. Anybody want to go to the Speedway with me the night before the race? Its always a party down there. Is anyone else going to Homecoming? We need to make plans. Its probably going to be difficult to get a motel room even now, there are alot of things going on in the area that weekend. |

Can non Buell owners attend the Buell-dealer sponsored events/factory tour/hospitality tent at track? I might be able to make it to this weekends meeting. Will it be at the dealership or some other location? |

No one knows the rules for sure since it is the first year without brag. They said that there shouldn't be a problem but, we are going to go down to deals gap for the entire week instead. Anyone planning on a trip down there? |

Ryan, I posted this a couple of weeks ago. I'll be about 10 miles from the tail of the dragon and the extra bedroom is still available. 2-6 June 2007 Mecca of Motorcycling Vacation Opportunity http://www.fontanavillage.com/accommodations/accom modations.htm I will be riding down on Saturday 2 June and coming home Wednesday 6 June for a total of 4 nights. Hey Everybody! As some of you know I recently bought a house and am closing on the 30th. (details on www.homefinder.org, MLS # 10046551) Instead of 'making' a few friends help me move I thought it would be alot more effective and fun to have a MOVING PARTY! Ideally a bunch of people show up... move me and my 1 bedroom apartments worth of stuff in little time and then grill, eat, drink, and enjoy my new house. The eats are of course free, and I will provide beverages but if you have a favorite be sure and bring it. Everyone is invited and welcome to bring whom ever they wish. Sooo... if you are interested here are the details. Party starts at 10 am on Saturday June 2nd @ my soon to be old apartment. The address is: 2100 W. Sudbury Dr. Apt. N-15, in Bloomington The party continues at my new place. The address is: 2821 Hensonburg Rd., in Bloomington. If you plan on coming give me a call (651-249-4548) and let me know or just post here, I just want an idea of how much grub to get. I vote our meeting get moved to this date! And it take place at my new place! I think that is it... so whos in? Oh and happy belated B Day Ryan. Sorry I have been so MIA lately everyone, life got very busy. Fortunately . . . I mean unfortunately, I have to work all day that Saturday and there is nothing I hate more than missing a moving party. Darn! I do have some moving blankets if you would like to use them. |

Sorry dude, but we won't be able to make it... We have had tickets & hotel reservations for 2-3 months now for two shows in Chicago, June 1-2. (Wicked & The Color Purple) Bummer. We may be back in time to help out on Sunday if you're still hard at it. When the time comes, keep us posted! (We'll be in touch too!) |

Plea for help! Heather & I recently adopted a new boat and we need help keeping her happy & full! We're always looking for people who want to get out & have a good time. Weekends especially, but weeknights are good too if you live close enough! So everyone is invited to come out with us anytime! Let us know if you'd like to hit the water with us and we can work out the details. Seating capacity is 16, so don't be shy! If you don't have your own life jacket, don't worry. We have lots of spanking new Coast Guard Approved ORANGE puppies for ya! (Just in case.) Oh and just to be clear... This 'aint no fishin' boat, so leave the tackle at home!

Man Adrian_8, I'm jealous! I'd love to ride like that. Are you riding solo or what? Have you left yet? What is the total round trip mileage and time table for this trek? Inquiring minds want to know! Safe Travels! |

We are leaving Friday morning at 5am..four bikes...2 BMW R1200GS, 1 950KTM, and me on the ULY. We are going to trailer to Lucus, KS where friends have a ranch...This saves over 1500 miles of nothing between Southern Indiana and past Kansas City(750 each way)..We unload Sat morning and head South west to Trinidad, Co..then Durango, Co, to Moab,UT then down thru UT to Canyonlands,NP, Bryce and ZionNP then into NV to Death Valley, Ca to Yosemite, Tahoe, up thru Oregon to Crater Lake then along the coast on 101 to Washington to Mt St Helens, Mt Ranier...to Grand Coolee Dam to Glacier NP in MT south to Yellowstone to Beartooth Pass then across the Big Horn MT. in Wy to Devils Tower then to Sturgis area then down thru NE to Kansas and load em up and come back to IN...we are figuring 3 weeks...have not figured the mileage....kind of hard with all the goat paths of blacktop and gravel we are taking with almost no Interstate. We are camping some.. and motels too. I am guessing about 6500 miles..we will know in about 3 weeks. |

Adrian_8: That trip sounds great! I'm anxious to hear how it goes! Maybe in a few more years we'll be able start doing some trips like that ourselves. Something else to look forward to! Wademan: As discussed earlier this evening over a delicious Penn Station Sub... I'll bring our trailer & ratchet straps down next Thursday (work permitting) and we should be able to get you moved all in one trip! At least the big stuff. ...I'm not planning on packing dishes and glasses, so that crap better all be in boxes by then!! Got it Holmes?! Chad: Too many toys?! Never heard of the notion? It's not really as fast as it looks. About 41-42mph was all I got out of it last Saturday, but it'll create a helluva wake fo'sure! It's a hard-core wakeboarding machine that has been the Official Towboat of the Gravity Games 3 years running. It's a heavy boat w/ a hull shape the is made to displace the most amount of water vs. efficiently travel across it. It has 3 independently controlled ballast chambers to add nearly an additional 2000lbs. of weight to create a wake that you can surf on without a rope! (Around 11mph or so!) Should be a blast! Seriously, if anybody likes boating and water sports, let us know! We'd love the company and in general it would just be more fun! Besides all of that, most states require at least three people for water sports and so we need a spotter if nothing else!! It's a $75 fine for the driver if not. Just ask Heather! Plus... **It'd just be more fun! (Mill Creek Lake is only about 20 min. away for us.) If there is enough interest, we'd love to take it over to Lake Monroe *or another nearby lake that may be better* for some after "R.I.D.E." fest-activites... |

wademan, i spoke without thinking. your moving day is miracle ride poker run day. i've got a commitment to do both days with a guy in indy that used to live here. a phone is better than email for communication. perhaps we should TALK.... shaun, thanks for the invite. i am a great spotter, lousy skier. i love being on the water, so i hope we will have more ride meetings so everyone can get together. the last 2 dates have been total busts. there seems to be little to no interest in our group. al, have a great trip...sounds wonderful !! |

Shawn..boats are fun.. too bad they do not get the same gas mileage your Buell does... You will be barefootin" before long...Will take pics of trip..but they are just reminders to the picture taker as they cannot come near capturing the beauty and how spectacular the West is...especially on a motorcycle. LET'S GO BOATING!! We're planning on bringing the boat to Bloomington tomorrow assuming anyone is interested in going out... We'd like to be there sometime before noon, and maybe have lunch on the water - possibly. We have a lake that's only like 20min. from our place, but it'd be more fun with more people, so here's your chance! The forecast isn't the best, but it should be fine even if we do have a shower or two during the day. If anyone is interested, let me know. Either respond here, PM me, or call my cell at: (812) 240-2920. If things work out for you later that you can come out, just give me a call then and make sure we're there and we'll arrange to pick you up at the docks! Hope to hear from you all! |

Ok - Change of plans... so far (short notice I know) no response, so we're heading to Mill Creek near Terre Haute instead. At 10mpg, it makes more cents. Still welcome to join us! Just call. Shawn & Heather |
