Yup. Still need a non cracked tail section? Maybe. I am going to mess with the grommetts on my corbin to see if I can get it to fit better. If I do, I may be looking for a tail section. |

Steve will get to it shortly Jason .. (he'd be the admin) After the demos yesterday, we spent the night (pretty late) trying to get my S1 and the new top end back together .. I'm sure at some point today you'll get a response. Also - thanks to everyone who came out .. whether to hang out or ride ... it was a great day ! I just noticed the expiration date on a diet Coke bottle on my desk here: JUL3007 This stuff has a 1000 year shelf life, wonder if it will still be carbonated by then, good stuff. Still I think I'll drink it today just in case.... Wish I could have made it down to the demo days but house painting took priority. Do one of you out there have a black S3 with loud pipes? There's one that's been going past my work this week about quitting time, 4:30 near 91st & BrownDeer road. Just curious if it's anyone here. If it is I was the guy on the black M2 that waved at you earlier this week at the intersection. Have a good weekend everyone. |

Hey folks, I know it's been a week since the demos and I'm sorry I haven't said thank you until now but we've had an incredible week. We had 111 registrations and over 150 test rides last Friday and Saturday. Just incredible. I want to thank Toni and Steve, Ron, Matt and Brian for all of they're help last weekend. I/we could not have managed without they're help and dedication. I have already had three "be-backs" in the last two days which have yielded two Buell rentals and a sale of a Blast. Great work folks! Again, thanks for all the hard work. BudC (Message edited by BudC on May 26, 2007) |

John, About the Lightening saddlebags-I bought the only set that we had today for my new 2004 XB12S. I am sorry to say that when I opened the box to install them I found, much to my surprise, a set of firebolt bags instead. The box was mis-marked. Dennis is ordering me another set on Monday. If you still need a set call me tomorrow or Monday, yes we will be open 9-5 on Monday, and I will get you a set ordered. I am not sure how long they will take to get. I need my set by next weekend. |

Hey Steve, I got my race ECM today. I hope to install it this weekend so that Terry can tune it for me on Tuesday. I have the wire for the muffler but I'm not sure if I am going to use it. There are a couple of race mufflers in the classifieds that I am looking at so it may not be necessary. Do I need the race kit air cleaner before Terry can tune it? I won't get it until late next week. A really @#*^#$@ bitch about the bags today. I bought the whole set, just like Toni's, hoping to install them for the weekend. Oh well! I'll see you on Sunday. Bud yes you do need the race air cleaner. I use the K&N that Buell used to use. Now they use a paper element that I just don't care for to much but its opinion. |

Thanks Bads. I've got one on order but I don't know if I will get it in time for Terry to tune the bike. I need to have it tuned before next Friday. I will be riding up to Road America next weekend for the AMA's and want the tuning done. How much different is the race air cleaner from the stock one? BudC |

For those of you who don't know, I am now "officially" an XB owner. I brought home my new 2004 XB12S Thursday night. Now the fun (ie. mods) begins. Here's the way it looked while at the dealership:
Stay tuned for progress reports. BudC |

Isn't it past your bedtime? I machined up the headlight mount, and starting to do up the fairing riser right now. But in the process of removing the original headlight adjusters, I broke the original headlight/instrument cluster bracket |

heh, naah, Shed still has plenty of room in it My brother and I sat down yesterday to play with a T-shirt design. Needed something simple, that was uniquely Buell, but didn't SAY Buell on it for time constraints sake. Don't want to wait for Buell to approve a design.

"Mike, what do you ride? I work off of Main St. and Fountain Bvld in Menomonee Falls and I've been seeing an all black XBr with some carbon fiber and a buell decal on the swing arm. " Black M2 with DCBrag U.S. flag tank logo overlays and Ventura rack on back, or a white S2 with nothing on back. M2 will probably get a different tank once I finish painting the spare tank. Steve, Are you going to put a tail section on the back of the t-shirt too????? |

John, if you want a crack at it... Go for it I'm sure we'll need *SOMETHING* by the end of the week. I was going for something simple, and as few colors as possible as to keep the $$ down. MikeJ, until you mentioned it, no, but damn, that would be cool. The Firebolt tail section with the Brew City Logo as the license plate? |
