If any of you haven't pitched in anything for Matt Ware and his family, I really encourage you to do so, even if it's just a few bucks. Matt is a Badwebber in the last stages of terminal brain cancer, and it's really tearing his family up.

My plan is to get the video set up from Sanchez, get it installed on the bike in time for Sunday.
Here's the hard part...
Mother's Day.
My folks are coming down to see us on Friday, and staying until Sunday (I think, they'll still be in Atlanta for most all of next week visiting friends).
So, I have to make sure both Ann and Mama have a great time this weekend to earn a Kitchen Pass to push up daisies.
That being said, I'm a firm maybe.
Y'all know, if at all possible, I'll be there.

Just got a call from my oncologist. My appointment for the scan result is tomorrow morning at 11, so hopefully by lunch I will have some good news. God knows I could use some of that. Hope everyone is doing good...

I went in for my follow up appointment today and received my Storm Trooper Boot (tm).





My leg looks creepy. There are incisions on both sides that are held together with staples.





Just call me Anklestein!

Now the bad news: 5 more weeks on crutches + 4 more weeks in the Boot + another month or so before my muscles are strong enough to walk again. It will be at least August before I can ride again. : (

Yikes, Sanchez...graphic picture! My offer still stands on you riding b1tch with your storm trooper boot and I'll take you anywhere you want to go! We would make a pretty good "At least we don't have cancer" team!

For those who haven't heard yet, or figured it out, I totally kicked cancer's ass!!!! Test showed no signs of any more cancer. I have four more scans over the next year to make sure nothing comes back. I got so excited today I had to take a nap!

I'm seeing something quite different from a little baby girl in that ultrasound. It is probably psychologically revealing what I am seeing. But I'd like to see your little girl. Can you help?
