Hey Bomber, I've already purchased an after market air cleaner (F-Force) to re-place my other one that got damaged in the lay-down, do you think we could swap them out at Maintenance day or let Harley handel the install? I've also got another heat shield coming in by the way too, I know that doesn't take that much to replace. Latter Kurt |

Reminder....for anyone planning to sign up for Buell InsidePass track day Aug 16 at Autobahn......it's filling up fast! Novice and intermediate is already full, only advanced remains open. Just sign up for advanced, then move down to a different level at the track, otherwise you can't get in. |

I just signed up for Buell InsidePass trackday June 7 at Road America. I plan to stay overnight at hotel in Plymouth with reasonable rates and decent free (continental) breakfast. Ping me if anyone is interested in sharing the cost of a room on the first floor with two beds. |

Bomber, I would be fine with Sunday, it would actually work better for me, but Saturday late would be alright too. I actually have to go to IL Harley to pick up the parts on Saturday so an evening or Sunday would work for me. I'll need directions. Tecno007@comcast.net Latter |

Kurt, I was thinking of riding to Bomber's this weekend. If so, I'll be leaving from your neck of the woods (Homey Glen). My plans were to superslab up to Sheridan Road, then ride my old faves along the LakeShore (can be quite entertaining) and end up at Bombers. Or maybe do this in reverse order. Cell = 708 373-5445 if you want to make arrangements, or post here. I'm flexible. We can even get to Sheridan Road via Chicago LSD and pickup some of the city dwellers along the way. |

Slimey Crud Run is coming on Sunday May 6th. I wanted to remind you all so you can reserve the date for this fun ride. Last year we met at the Belvidere Toll Plaza on I-90 at 8:30am Sunday and road together to the first stop at Pine Bluff, WI. Each slimeycrudrun has proven to be a fabulous ride and I'd love for us to have another large turnout from WCC. Bomber's route between Pine Bluff and Leland was highly twisty and I hope we can convince him to lead us again. We can discuss more at the club meeting on 5/3. slimeycrudrun.com Sunday, May 6th, 2007 Sunday, October 7th, 2007 |

Paladin/Greg -- how does one type a word that signifies that raspberry sound? Marc -- I'd normally be happy to get us all lost again at the Slimey Crud Run -- however, as it coincides with my duaghter's graduation from college (!), I'll take a pass -- can't go wrong on the roads up there, though, as long as you avoid Rt 12 ;-} |

Fly, Yeah I'm all for riding up there, whatever route you choose is fine with me. Since were both leaving from 'The Glen' we should just meet up out here. I'm just going to carry my new Forcewinder filter and heat shield in my backpack so I won't have to much to bring along. I'm clear off this weekend for Bomber's Lab which was good for me so I could get those parts on. I'm working my usual overnight shift Friday to early morning...I don't when your planning to leave but just as long as I can get a wink or two of sleep I'll be fine. Thanks |

Bomber, Kurt, Tim, John, Greg Thanks for one hell of a day on Saturday, the new Forcer Filter Assembly worked excellent! The ride was great aside from the loose battery cable and I'm starting to regain my confidence totally cool. Bomber thanks for the hospitality and help. If Saturday was any indication of how the rest of this years club events are to go then we're off to a great start. I'll be around bad web and hopefully the next meeting see everyone latter.
