Because its going to be 33 degrees at meeting time, I've asked Sam to postpone Dyno Day. More on the rescheduling at the meeting.... The agenda: 1. Meeting called to order 7:00 2. Treasurer's report - Frank 3. Secretary's report - Greg (if he's back from March Badness) 4. Dealer's Corner - Sam 5. Racer's Corner - Speedy, Kurt K. 6. Upcoming Rides and Events - Paul's Lake Michigan Loop - Bomber's Maintenance Day, Galena Ride - Track Days: Autobahn, Road America - Curt Ringwald's Starved Rock ride, BBQ & ride to see Kurt K. race 7. The card looks great too, but it has just www.windycityclub.com for contact info. That's fine, except our website says: " Windy City Club- A Buell Riders Brotherhood" I believe we're open to other riders. If they go to the site and just see "Buell Riders Brotherhood" they may back off.   Johnnyvince Posted on Monday, April 09, 2007 - 01:25 am:        I know we're open to other riders but I like the Buell brotherhood thing. I actually wouldn't mind seeing it on the card (somewhere on the back?). I think it would make Buell owners know that they wouldn't be a minority with us like they are everyplace else. To me the point of these cards is to hand them out to Buell riders and leave them on Buells we see in our travels, not to leave on every random motorcycle out there. If I meet someone I like on a Duc I'll hand them one of these cards and say "We're primarily a Buell club, but you should check it out and join anyway". My $.02 . Opinions? As far as the shirts, I think I'd rather see light grey T shirts with the black logo than white shirts, or at least have 10 grey and 10 white as opposed to 20 white. Is that possible, Tim? Is anybody interested in white? Also: do we know that the shirts will be Hanes Beefy T's? Thanks for posting that stuff Tim. I love it!! Frank- Tim's prices include sales tax. Aren't we incorporated or something so we don't need to pay sales tax?   M2epyonpilot Posted on Monday, April 09, 2007 - 08:21 am:        Hey all, I agree on the Buell angle, I think that we should invite other bike riders into the group but should we should be primarily a Buell based group. The possibility being that in attending the meetings these riders might just opt to buy a Buell. I think "A Buell Brotherhood" would fit the card perfectly. Yes, I did vote against myself, I voted for that logo...very cool! -Side Note- Anyone that was not at the last meeting I handed out some CD's that I had burned to promote the figure-8 race I'll be running, anyone that was not there and did not get one I'll be at the next meeting with some more in addition I left some with the club for next meeting also. Anyone that had a copy...your opinions? I had tried come up with a tracklist that would satisify both young and old alike; any comments?   Fly Posted on Monday, April 09, 2007 - 06:46 pm:        Kurt, I enjoyed your fine selection of songs on the CD. There's only one song I would have replaced, but that's just a matter of personal taste. All in all, I like your diverse selections, especially the hard-driving ones. Light gray (as suggested by JV) might be a good alternative to pure white. Cards - like the design, but would hate to scare away like-minded riders if they misinterpreted that only Buells need apply. CALLING CARDS: i think we should leave off anything "Buell", as we are trying to increase our group and invite others. also any joining will see our "Buell" roots right away.
