I hope you guys had fun last night. The ride today was awesome. I only took a few pics today because my camera battery died so I had to use my phone. Linky |

Wanted to go but had a late night, plus needed to work on my stuntbike and play with it for a while... You're a bit obsessed with those Post Offices aren't ya Lee? I guess every town has one so why not! |

Duff, It's my way of going postal. Tom, I was the one guy in the black leather jacket. My son asked me if your friend's bike was special because of the signature. I told him all Buells are special, but that this one was probably signed at a Homecoming or some other event. Nice bikes though. Do you know the guy riding the yellow one with all the CF on it? |

Well, as James is almost finished getting his back together, I'm almost done taking mine apart. Effing spark plug hole.

So would it bother you if I told you I have been riding a lot lately?

Nope. Still got the S1. I like your mirrored visor. It's always a cool pic when you can see a reflection of the road. |

actually roberts bike was a special edition. If you saw the frame was blue, the rear wheel was blue, the body work was red, the front was white and the tail was white. There were several built by buell and donated to the US navy carriers to be raffled off for navy relief fund. the guy on the yellow X-1 lives in Baldwin,KS, I just can't remember his name. |

Rob did you ask for the bolt size on a sportsers head so you would get an answer? I see you found an axle removal tool. |

The head bolt was just a 1/2 inch 12point. Nothing special. Why do you think I found the axle removal tool? Didn't you notice both wheels are still mounted. I ordered the tool from Surdyke, but they take for ever. Now I have another problem. I was replacing the fuel pump, and the head of one of the bolts snapped. Now I've got a stripped spark plug hole, and a bolt stuck in the frame that I can't get out. I'm going to try to drill the center of the bolt out and save the threads, but I doubt that will work well the way my luck is going. I'm starting to think that this bike is trying to kill me. |

Oh yeah, forgot to mention. I'd bet on your chopper being completely painted and reassembled before mine is up and running. |

Well if it makes you feel any bettter I'm not done yet. I took the bike out for a ride last night and the night before and there are some problems. Broken kickstand bolt Knocking front brake Bad connection on one of my tail lights No right rear blinker Check engine light staying on I know none of this is really a big deal, but I don't have an S1 to ride either. I'm going to call Lawrence today about the kickstand bolt, but I'm sure I'll be waiting for it. I think the shop put my front rotor on incorrectly, and I believe the check engine is just the exhaust servo. Sometimes it feels like it never ends. |

If you have the service manual, there is instructions on how to retrieve the error that is causing the check engine light. Mine came on randomly and I had no idea what the issue was. I followed the instructions and it told me that it was an error with my mass airflow sensor. I checked, and the plug had come loose. Hooked it back up, and the check engine light turned off. |

Picked my bike up from the lawrence shop yesterday. It was pretty dirty when I dropped it off since I rode it in the rain to get it there. When I picked it up it was cleaner then when I dropped it off but still pretty dirty. I guess it gives me something to do this weekend when the kids are searching for eggs. In the end I am happy w/ the lawrence shop, guys down there are nice and seem to know what they are talking about. I road to work today... fingers very cold.. very cold but well worth it. |

Harley guys don't know how to clean a bike. I honestly don't know why they even bother. It is more of an insult to me than if they would just forgo the bogus complimentary wash. |

Any MMA fans here? Curious if anyone has plans for saturdays UFC? The Diago and Josh fight should be the highlight of the night. Plan on cleaning the bike tomorrow. Suggestions for the cleaning products I should use(Wheels, engine, plastics...). |

Cafe, Damn you should have posted it up earlier in the week, 75% of us always go out and watch the fights. I think Johnnys on 119th and Roe ish quite playing them there because of how rowdy we got last time. But we usually goto the Peanut off Shawn Mission Parkway or 87th st Side Pockets. We always have a group for every fight so put up an early reminder if we don't start doing it. Actually when we where at Side Pockets this for this fight I saw a guy with a Buell shirt on but didn't get a chance to talk. We then went to Johnnys Tavern and got to see a guy get tazered, that was a big fight in the parking lot I would say 10 or 15 guys and about 150 people in the parking lot, cleared out the bar. |

Just an FYI for all you guys. Mid America Harley-Davidson in Columbia will be having a Spring Biker Bash on April 21st. We'll have food, vendors, Hooter's Girls, stunt show, fireworks, demo ride etc. Feel free to come and make a day out of it. We would really like to see some support for Buell!!! |
