That's funny Nutsosane. I lived right off of Bent Mountain Rd. I was the first left as you get to the top, Air Point Dr. So some days I took BRPW and the others 221...best of both worlds!!! I like Windy Gap the best. Would of been great if I'd of had a Buell at that time...tight tech turns, WOW!!! ~ Jason |

well, it looks like you guys have figured it all out.....! i'm headed overseas, and am selling off the fleet at the advice of a good friend who tried to keep stuff in storage while overseas for a few years and discovered how disappointing the results and expenses are to do it. of course, the cash from liquidation will certainly be nice - but there's no way i could recreate the fleet with the money i am asking for them. so - really its to move them now instead of taking a different/bigger loss on them by storing them indefinitely while overseas. since you guys are local, i'd really appreciate it if you'd buy some of them so i'd know they were going to a good home or at least forward the info to any riding friends, or aspiring trackday folks thanks, D p.s. not giving up on motorsports at all - even though i'm also selling my white jeep. just rearranging things to make being overseas more practical. will pick up more toys in the future. |

Hey Karl, I've been wondering how you were doing over there-it's been a while since we've heard from you. Lots of thing a happening here. We are now part of KMC HOG as of a week ago. Not much else will change. Steve has been working on getting a new site up and running with our new graphics. I thought the site was working though. Try www.brewcitythunderbikes.com. I checked it at it's working. You will have to register again though-old files did not transfer. Gotta run, but keep in touch. See ya. Bud (Message edited by BudC on March 18, 2007) |

Morning .... Still trying to decide on the mount and what not... I'll talk to you some later today on that .. Was out by Steve last nite, fed him Dew while he machined down my risers and top clamp for the handlebars ... it looked kinda silly sitting all tall with no bars in it ... Photos of the M2 ...everyone else thinks I made a good decision swapping the wheels... I'm still adjusting ... but I like it as well... especially after the few hours spent polishing them (a couple hours even with machine polishing !)
I posted some before and afters a couple days ago ... http://www.badweatherbikers.com/buell/messages/4062/266788.html?1174887048 |

Kinger, you bet! I love the bike. The extra 2" of wheel base, and 1" of suspension really makes the thing ride NICE. But the TT wont look like a TT for very long. Bought everything to put a Ulysses tail section, and firebolt fairing on it. I'm making a modern S3T. |

Steve.........make sure and post some pictures of the process and the final product. I spent some quality time in the garage last week: I have added a TV and stereo since this picture was taken. Need to get the cable run out there! Just need a new top, some outlets and I will be done. Now I can work on the bike wiht out moving a bunch of stuff each time. Anyone changed their fork spring before? |

Kinger, this is kinda how it will look in the end...
But I wont have the "duck beak" front fender, just a standard XB fender. And it will be red. The rear subframe rails will match the charcoal color of the frame, and the rear grab rail will match the red body work. I will most likely have to notch the fairing to clear the master cyl since I am going to continue using lightning bars. I'm also going to use Hella 90MM headlights. VS the stock firebolt lights. MUCH better light I've heard. The rear saddlebags will have the trim pieces painted to match the red bodywork as well. |

Nice garage by the way! Makes my 10x12 shed look like... Well, a 10x12 shed I'm doing all the work on the new bike at work. We have a new empty bay, with TONS of shelf space and such. |

That will look good when it is done. I have long way to go on the garage. Typical builder mentality, they maxed out the circuit out there. When the fridge, compressor, or circular saw kick on, the lights dim. Need to add a sub panel, more outlets, light, etc. Eventually it will be fully insulated and heated. |
