Jim, Thanks for the offer to use your No Mar but I already had the tires put on because I did not want to practice on new Amber XB wheels. I did purchase a No Mar changer for work because it will change the tires on our equipment. I will have to practice with it before I change tires on the M2. |

I've got part of a Race Blast now. My back tire is on Laura's bike. I couldn't believe how easy it was to swap the wheels. |

Big thanks to Jim N, our tire was plugged and would not pass inspection, so a quick swap and Jim has Laura's wheel/tire and we have jims for a short time. On that note, got the belt guard finished and welded today. Looks like a off the shelf part. Got the mirrors off and the headlight taped, got to adjust the bars for maximum tuck, got the lanyard pull kill switch wired. waiting on leathers to return from kentucky. |

I will be heading out of Kinston around 11am. I will running straight across the state on I-40 / I-85 to the Dragon. If anybody wants to get up with me call my cell 252-939-6407. If I am on schedule the first stop should be in Greensboro around 1:30-2pm. I will probably stop there to eat lunch then continue to the Iron Horse. I am ready, see you tomorrow!! Rachel, Pete, and I are leaving about 4:00 and spending the night in Asheville; Then heading to the Dragon Friday morning. BTW there is an Adventure Riders gathering in Suches this weekend too, at the Airport campground about 5 minutes from the TWO. I'm gonna spend some time there too. |

I expect I'll be leaving SC about 6 AM tomorrow. Hopefully that'll put me in Suches shortly after noon on Friday. I was considering trying to leave this afternoon but it looks like I'll have to be at work until at least 5 PM or so. I'm looking forward to seeing Rubberdown, U4euh (assuming he makes it), and Pete again and meeting some more C3'ers. |

Brankin and I with help of a friend have the S2 loaded. Mark & Carlos loaded the M2 this afternoon. Carlos is almost to the Iron Horse Inn. Brankin and I plan to leave at 5 a.m. with the "terrible 2s" in tow! Safe travels to everyone. |

No, I was unable to commit when the cabin was available due to a crazy work schedule. Have been working on the house and doing the the repairs to the wire harness chafing issues on the Uly this weekend. How was your trip to Key Largo, picture looked like fun. I'm headed that way enroute to Key West on May 17th. |

I talked to Carlos a few minutes ago. He suffered no damage. The bike lost some of the normal tip over stuff, but nothing serious broke. He has the M2 up there as well, so all is good. Flyn - Key Largo was good. I just wanted a place to relax and it was perfect for that. We made a day trip to Key West. There is definitly more going on in Key West, whether that is good or bad depends on what you're looking for. If you recomendations for a place to stay in Key Largo, I loved the Dove Creek Lodge. |

Jim, thanks for the update and link. Glad to hear that your were able to talk to Carlos and all is well. Key West is only an overnight on my mid-life odyssey to the great white north....46 days and counting. |

I just got back from Michaels. There was another Uly there, I parked next to him. I ran into Gramps. He says to tell you all he is still alive. He has a new metric crusier. I ran into the other Uly owner right as I was about to leave. He and his wife had ridden up from Sanford. |
