duc_htr -- punkin = pumpkin = rear end t-tech = fluid replacement service. basically like a radiator flush, but for your tranny. the t-tech is the machine they use. any quicklube place does it for 75 bucks last time i had it done. (75K miles ago. i should do that again.... nah. i need new michelins. if it hasn't been mentioned, check the fuel filter too.... usually about every 50K-65K that should be replaced, depending. hope that helps... oh yeah...one more thing..... brakes! even if you've already checked 'em once. Not me. Both ears are blown up like little mushrooms on the side of my head...I won't even go into how much fun it is to pull on a helmet. |

> who's goin to be out at the v tonight? I have to say, I'm kind of over the V. It was fun back in the Olden Days last year when our whole crew could roll up, flirt with our favorite waitress, and get seated in a few minutes. Nowadays our waitress is gone, and the place is so choked up with squids that you can't get a table at all. We should pick some place else to get our group together. It's been too long. |

Sunday morning is the only time I have. Sunday night I got plans with the wife. Duc, I did that mostly with power tools. I wet sanded with 1000 grit but am going to do it again with 1500 then polish again. |

We should pick some place else to get our group together. I with you. The V was nice once upon a time, but like you said, things are different now. I wouldn't mind having a different waitress, but I do mind being treaded the way we were last time I went. Suggestions? Never been to Summits. |

Do any of you like the frame?? I am being ignored?? Opinions?? Suggestions?? Anything?? I would like to meet somewhere, Summits is good, the Tiger would make it there and back without stalling. I would go to the Rat meeting but would have to cage it. Bullet, Could you or would you be willing to drop it off tonight like we talked?? Sat. is a maybe, later in the evening. Stealth, could you do sat. night?? With the coming of the Badness I have been in the Barn alot, I dont mind but my pregnant wife sure does. So now I got sat. night and sunday A.M. tied up on bikes, I am just trying to condense the bike time a little. |

Do any of you like the frame?? I like, I like a lot. Why you got to re-do the swing arm? With regards to Barn time, I totally understand. For smaller jobs, and the things I'm comfortable with, we have my garage. I just ain't got all the tools New12 does, but if y'all need space to work, get in touch. Also I'm willing to help with anything at the Barn to move things along. Just let me know, and I'm there. Cody has a double header tonight, and three games on Saturday. I'm pissed, they even have a couple of double headers on school nights! This is going to be one crazy season! |

Chahles. The frame? Shiny? Not so much, but if that's your thing, I support you! I know it'll look good when you're done! Are you trying to have it together for next weekend? |

The V was nice and centrally located. Remember not all of us live out off 78... It'd be nice to drop in at the Ace's Cafe where Kimber now works as a whole group one sunny Sunday. Lets find somewhere in midtown where we all can make it in less than an hour. |

we could also check out the highlander in midtown, it's on monroe right near 10th street. lotsa parking, best bar food in atlanta(per creative loafing), pool tables, a big pattio, and lotsa tatted chicks and there is always some harley ridin guys up there. tho if there's any younger riders (under 21) you better get a killer fake id, cause they dont play. they had a jutebox with bad ass stuff in it too. new12- i like the frame, all i have to say is "pinky ring wirth bout fitty, *bling* *bling*" but i dig it. one of the guys at the shop where i work wants to do mine. |

New12r- looks great....but, like Kdan, I'm not a chrome guy. I like things subtle and subdued.........sort of like my personality! Ha!! Yea, right. No, it does look very sweet though. Is that guy coming up for the Badness so we can swap out pipes? |

Yes, I will have to give you full pop or find a core, he want to keep his original in case of something tho. Thanks again and sorry I forgot to email ya! I really wanted black but paint aint cheap and polishing is, there will be some other stuff done and not that much that is Bling Bling. If i get too much chrome or polish I can get a new motto...........I go fast down I-20! |

Haha!! looks good, charlie. Kdan doesn't like anything that's not stock and dirty. now you could do the chip foose thing with it and after you polish it. he did a car (and i can't find the pics) where he polished the whole thing, then masked off certain areas and sprayed it black. when the tape got pulled back, it changed the "shape" of the car and made it look a lot racier. almost like graphics, but without the "two-tone" feel. and without getting a rice citation... that leaves you with these jumpin' shiny spots/lines/whatever you may design, or you could change the shape of the frame, so to speak (make it look thinner or more arched, etc.) but you don't have to polish every inch of it every time it gets wet. just make sure all the hard to reach areas (neck area, etc.) are black. |

Charlie, It's a scientific fact that black paint absorbs radar gun beams better than polished chrome or aluminium (or red paint for that matter)... Like jiggling a shinny lure in front of a bass, cops just can't resist chasing it. |
