We just went home. I stayed nice and dry, and my bike was clean with a quick wipe down. Except for the rubber all over the rear end from a big burnout in the garage when I got home. Time for the Corsa III's to go on. |

Welcome Tommy. Track Day for Buellers! If you're interested go to Buell.com and click the Inside Pass link. They are doing two events at Miller in Utah. May 2nd, and again on September 6th. I'm going to the Sept. but I would love to go to the one in May as well if anyone would like to join me. Should be a kick ass time. This Sunday Noon at Donny Mac's if the weather holds of course. |

Forgot to mention, that I signed up for the novice group. That way for those of you that don't have full leathers, we can all still be in the same group. Also, if the instructors feel that you are in the wrong group they will move you up or down. P.S. I now have a tire changing machine for those of you that may need it. |

I need some advice on reasonably priced front/rear stands for my Uly. I've been trying to get a hold of Bill but no such luck. Any ideas? The Red Handy Stands seem pretty cool for $89 front & year together: http://www.handyindustries.com/shop/product_view.a sp?idProduct=167&D=1&S=4 |

Tim, I got some off of Ebay from T-Rex Stands. They were pretty inexpensive and have been working great. I got the rear, front, and triple tree lift, they all do their job well. Just look on the 'bay for rear stand and they will come up. Who is going to make it for Sunday? |

I was thinking Black Canyon. So probably noon at Highway 55 and Beacon Light Chevron. That makes more sense than Donny Mac's as I suggested above. |

BVR has a run planned Sunday up to Brownlee Dam (Hwy95 to 71). Lots of twisties up north and very scenic. I am sure we'll have a "faster" group that can ride hard ahead of everyone else just in case you don't want the cruisers crimping your style. Either way, BAB is ALWAYS welcome to ride with BVR and we'd love to see the new faces and sweet Buell's! Come on, I'm tired of being the only Buell on these BVR rides...let's show them our machines! It will stage at Meridian Shell (Meridian Rd/I-84, next to JB's) at 8:30AM and kickstands up at 9AM. It's about 250+ miles round trip...you WON'T be disapointed. What do you guys (and gals) think? |

HELP! I want to ride Sunday but I found a rock puncture in my rear tire this morning. Here's where I'm at: -HDHD has a D616 rear for my Uly or if someone has a used 3.5K mile or less D616 180/55ZR17 I'll give you $50 for it. -Either fabricate an adapter for my motorcycle floor jack or buy a rear swing arm stand...or borrow one. -Take the wheel and new tire to Big Twin for DMR or see if Mike can help me tonight or tomorrow using his tire machine. Mike? -Or, Remove tire and patch from inside? Thanks in advance for any ideas or help with this. -Tim |

Tim, at this moment I need to get a couple of things purchased, and a few things changed on the machine before I am comfortable with it. Especially with someone else's wheels. You are more than welcome to borrow my stand if you need it. If I were you I'd get a mushroom plug in the tire and it will be fine. Lots of people have no trouble riding on that type of plug for thousands of miles. Sunday NOON at Hghwy 55 and Beacon Light Chevron (Message edited by coturi on March 09, 2007) |
