New12r/B_A...spoke with Mrs. Blackpregsunshine and Sunday night would be great. Just call me sometime this weekend with an ETA. B_A....we are not hiring in our front office, but I am sure it wouldn't hurt to drop a resume in the building (Emory). There are 13 orthopeadic docs, Sports med, MRI, Surgical floor...etc....etc. I will be more than happy to be a professional reference. We have a little pull here. |

pos # best time MPH Name Bike 38-221- 1:48.786- 97.622- Charles W Sipp-Buell B12R 60-229- 1:50.466- 96.138- Darren James-Buell XB12R 63-908-1:52.275-94.589-AndrewHamblin-BuellXB12R This is the current Formula Xtreme qualifying times fresh off the press. Not nearly as exciting as last year. I am not sure if the bikes are actually12Rs or RRs it is a little hard to get clear info at this point. You can find the complete list at: http://www.amaproracing.com/prorace/raceres/rr/cre s.asp?cls=fe&snct=p5200&type=q&year=2007 It takes a second to load. I was happy to see Duhamel take the pole, he is sort of a personal hero. He should have won last year, especially after crashing and then fighting his way back to the front with a busted windscreen and visor. That whole bad business with the yellow flag...... save that junk for the 4 wheelers. Anyways. I am confused, Last year Erick was talking up the RR and how it would change racing for Buell. If it wasn't for the hardware issues Buell would have made a good showing. I would have expected Buell to be back stronger than ever, with those pesky mechanical issues resolved. |

Some of Black Sunshine's part now live on my new Demo for March Badness. I traded SilverBullet an R-Tail for Black Sunshine's old Tail Section. Next we added the Red windscreen and cherry bomb wheels. Check out the pics.

That does look nice. I have a question about the demo rides. If one is riding as lead or follower (part of the demo crew), is it possible for said rider to be on one of the demo bikes?? |

Yes, if you stand in line and wait your turn to ride. Buell runs the demos. First come first serve. Last year I rode a demo for the last couple rides only because there wasn't enough people to ride them all. Remember, our demo bikes are different from Buell's bikes. Their bikes get locked in the trailer at the end of each day. Ours will be ridden up there and back! Smokescreen |

Hey 3%ers.. Stopping in from DC, MD,VA and wondering if any of you folks are gonna come up to VIR for the Buell Track Day? I'm highly irritated with Buell on the track day front. They scheduled their Barber day right on top of March Badness! I suspect they'll have a pretty light turnout with all the local Buell riders up in the north GA hills. |

Arr! So close and yet so far. The War Nugget will have to wait for Saturday. All I lack are the two damn bolts that hold the petcock to the bottom of the tank. Phil, do you have those bolts in stock? |

Yes, you are correct I did build this bike for me. Yes B_S you can have first dibs on riding it. This year I want to actually do some lead and chase rides and let someone else do some of the talking part. If it sells before March Badness, I will build another one. |

hey everybody. just got back from the V, and the squids were WTFO tonight. 100mph from ponce to buckhead on peachtree st. heroic? just plain dumb? asinine? yeah. that's the word i was lookin' for. some of the bikes were hot, though. that fella showed up on the duck that looks like a spaceship. (1 of only 2000 produced, he say). there was a slick shovel chopper too. (74", 3" belt drive, jock shift, 21" whitewall on the front, more) and a vintage beemer in white (180 degree twin. great sound!) should have pics up if i can ever figure out how to make it work. (i'm a computer idiot....) saw a few fellow buellers. lightning dave showed up on his awesome S1, and Jay rode his xb9 out and terrorized the streets with us. next week we need some more help!! Clown -- saw that bike in person today. one word came out of my mouth repeatedly. "wicked!" |

Clown sweet bike... I can't wait to see it at March Badness... its has BS's parts on it... it NEEDS to be at MBIV... but business is business... Clown or Smoke... I have a question about wiring in a 02 FatBoy... I have a friend that was blowing a fuse everytime he switched to high beam... this started after some local fly by night shop put on his new handlebars... traced it down to being a wire pinched into the clutch lever bracket... so heres the question... HOW THE HELL DO YOU RUN THOSE WIRES UNDER THE CLUTCH MOUNTING BRACKET??? I tried for an hour and everytime it looked to pinch the wires again... if you could give me some help I will bring you guys some beer at MBIV... or some crown, or whatever it is you all want... Thanks either way! PS I like pics! |

Got over to the Barn last night to swap headers (mine for the spare after I polished the spare). Good thing I did too, as I took my old one off, what did I find? A crack! After the first bend (front header) there's a two inch crack. Now I couldn't tell you if the wrap had anything to do with it or not, it just as easily could have happened when the front strap broke, and I had to ride it home with the muffler supported by the rear straps, and the muffler hanging on at the inlet. Who knows? I do know however, that if power in decreased over time you'll not notice a change, but, if power is restored in a short period of time you do notice that! It also makes for a fun ride home! Fran_dog good to see you, LD and Amy, wish I could have stuck around, but I was out later than I had planned. |

Polished headers, tail swaps, pipes and who knows what else. Damn, I haven't done anything to my ride. Unless you count thrashing it a little thru the week. Oh well. I'll be glad to ride. I can't wait till March Badness... |

Oh... A little story. The short version. Went over to my Dads house yesterday because my Grandfather passed away and I wanted to be with everybody. Well I rode my motorcycle over because it was a nice day. When I got there he had already been hitting the PBR. Well, I couldn't let him drink alone right? So I started hitting it too. It was 5pm somewhere. Well about an hour later with 5 beers and 4 shots of Makers Mark in me I decided to do a burnout on the patio outside the basement. Ha! I lit it up not realizing that the doors were all open and I filled the house with smoke. It was actually pretty funny and we were laughing our asses off. After it calmed down a little we had to put fans in the house to blow it out. Even my mom thought it was cool. When she came out of the house I thought for sure I was a dead man but, I guess we all needed a little stress relief. |
