He said he would have them sometime this week and let me know. I'll pass on the links. He wanted to know if you were on ADVrider. I assume you aren't and told him that. I sent him a link to your "out of words" trip. I noticed that fastferris dot com is gone, so I linked him to the badweb version. |

We have complete custom leather shop and a very skilled leather mechanic working in the Tack Shop. I've been thinking about Mark's needs and will try to get further information. It may or may not be worth having zippers installed depending on the construction of the garment, linings, how much the leathers cost .....; but yeah, if the job needs to be done, our man can do anything. |

Jerry, it was good meeting everyone as well. You handled that Road King beautifully on the dirt/mud/ice road. Will spring ever get here? |

Jerry...You handled that Road King beautifully on the dirt/mud/ice road. thx! it's all Denise's fault. Will spring ever get here? we been asking that same question ourselves, 'cept, as the Noobs, we don't know what's "usual" this time of year. what we DO know is we had ice-cycles hanging off the house all day Sunday, so i'm thinkin' Saturday was the better day to go riding. hey, not sure if i win a prize or something, but i just lifted this off ADVrider, and couldn't help notice that "Fast Ferris" was in first place! Who's your daddy? Online: 2437 (829 adventurers and 1608 lurkers) Most insanity ever was 2,925 online, 04-01-2005 at 10:05 AM. Fast Ferris, (sp?), 007ADVenture, 02Silver... man, it's sure quiet on a motorcycle board this time of year... FB |

Anybody else think it would be nice to have "neighbors to the north" and "neighbors to the south" links at the top of the page pointing the the 3% and Roanoke groups? |

I bet we can get Glitch to do that. Drop him a PM and tell him what you want. He's the one who set up our folders last year. Those are the other two that I check into as well. What a neat group of people we have here on BadWeb! |

You California people. I was out there once and everyone who I told I was from North Carolina would scratch their head for a minute and then ask "Is that near New York?" South. |

OK, now I feel stupid. I looked at a map. It probably more west than south, but lets call it south anyway. If you're at Deals Gap, it's South. |

Too cool. I am taking an online class watch you two work this out. It looks great Jerry! South Carolina does not have any major board like C3, 3% or Roanoke, but I would still love to get a ride going maybe in the Uwharrie this Spring. We did one last year and it was a lot of fun. Maybe a better destination could be found. We also want to get another fall ride out in the Mountains like last year too. Boone was fun, or the Motorcycle park down the road from my Father-in-laws Cabin and you Jerry. It's at the intersection of BRP and US-58. |

I stopped by Ray Price today to make an apointment for the BAS recall and to have them look at some front brake pulsing. It's changed a lot over the last couple of years, for the better. I ended up out back talking with Mike, Danny, and some other employee who has a Buell. I know at least two other guys who work there ride them. I know that some people have had pulsing brakes fixed under warranty. I was worried that I might have problems convincing RP to do that. Mike's in charge of the warranty stuff now. I left with a real good feeling about everything. |

just added the 3%'ers Pegasus gif above, and have added similar linkage at the top of the Fast & Loose thread. this stuff can be changed easy enough, if anyone has further suggestions. thx Carlos! looking forward to meeting you and Kristi. we're buried in work and renovating our new/old house (BRP, MP 203.1), but as last Saturday proved, we DO still get out and ride on occasion, and are looking forward to meeting and riding with all y'all. Jim, the Fast & Loose gang needs a catchy gif, doncha think, like C-3 and 3% has? WAY past my bedtime! FB |

Carlos, I need new tires. I know you've investigated this to death. What are your recomendations for long life tires? I think the best I've had so far were the Continentls. Unfortunatly, I don't remeber exactly which continentls they were. I know they were not the same ones you ran. |

Jim, they were the Contiforce IIRC. I think that tire has been replaced by the Road and Sport Attack tires. |

Hey Jim I got about 8300 out of my Conti Road Attack rear. Just put a new rear on. Sports are sticky, but less life. I like the Road attacks. Larry |

Jim, they were the Contiforce IIRC. I think that tire has been replaced by the Road and Sport Attack tires. Yea, I think they are the same tires I have on the Uly now. I like the tires for the Grip, but they are not lasting me. I have 1600 miles on them and I believe they will be gone before 3000 miles. The Pirelli Diablo Strada lasted the longest on the Uly at 5,000 miles, but the Old D205 on the M2 have lived the longest of any of my bikes 5,700 miles. I was going to try out the Pirelli Syncs next but I am looking for something a little more off road, not longest life. |

thx Carlos! looking forward to meeting you and Kristi. we're buried in work and renovating our new/old house (BRP, MP 203.1), but as last Saturday proved, we DO still get out and ride on occasion, and are looking forward to meeting and riding with all y'all. Me too! The advantage I have down the road from you on Gladesboro Rd is that Grand Parents can have fun with the kids, while Kristi and I sneek away for some riding. Actually my oldest, Carlee and I had a blast on Snake Creek Rd on the M2. I think it crosses the BRP at 210? and runs to US-58 on the way to Hillsville. It was like riding a roller coaster. The last time I had the C3 crowd up there I took them down the road. Not the most challenging road you will find, but the elevation changes and curves really remind me of a roller coaster. |
