Aron, No Drummer on the doorstep when I got home last night. No worries, It'll be here soon, and I'll let ya know. I'm a bachelor next week, so I'll probably try and get it installed one of the evenings this week. |

No problem Paul. Let me know when you get it. Also any more update on the emulator. I am just wondering if I should order one form American Sport Bike. |

Red rims with black plastic makes a nice contrast. Of course I'm partial to that color scheme because it reminds me of my first bike. I am probably going to the meeting. Hopefully the weather is clear by 6pm, I NEED to ride. Cord, it is the monthly meeting for local Buell owners, formerly Brag. Never been to one before so I can't tell you much except that it is 7pm @ The Ram in Lake Oswego. |

When's your Drummer SS supposed to ship? I've got an SS order in the queue... |

Hopefully, by month end. Last time I talked with Kevin he said he would try to have one ready by the 28th. |

Well, I just got back from a quick little shakedown run after getting my bike back together and getting myself healed up enough to get out again. Bike seems fine, maybe something with the front rotor, fine at high speeds, slowing to a stop the bike bucks a little like the rotor is warped or something. Need to look into it. I found myself ALOT more nervous than I would have liked. I was thinking about EVERYTHING. |

Yes, the class makes you more aware of your surroundings. Are you finding that you use SIPDE? |

Yes I was using my SIPDE, to a fault I think. I'm hoping the nerves settle down after a few more short runs. This was my first time back on my bike since the crash. |

Is that Rok's machine? I've also noticed the bike at Paradise. The colored carbon fiber is pretty cool when seen up close. |

Sure looks like it, based on his profile picture. Mark, I talked with Kevin this morning. I am #3 on the list and will be part of his next batch that will be completed hopefully next week he said. He has had some delays do to changing suppliers for his materials as well as ton of original drummer conversion orders. Cord, I am glad that you are able to get out and ride. Paul, I decide to order the Emulator from American sport bike anyway. I want to be prepared. I also ordered a can of XB Frame paint because I think that I will go ahead and cut my cheese grater myself. |

Cord, I'll pretty much be done once the pipe is back on. I got the throttle cables figured out, no more binding. I'll do the breather mods and get the drummer on at the same time. I do need to figure out what to do with mirrors. The pro-Tapers are nice, but my bar ends don't fit. I need to hog out the bar ends a bit, find another way to make the mirrors fit, or find another mirror. None the less, I may swing by if you have a date in mind. |

Well 3 hours later, my cheese orator is gone. Actually half my time was relocating the blinkers and making a new mounting bracket for the license plate.

Nice work Aron! Looks great! Now take it off and paint it black ^_^ How did you attach the plate? I need to cut mine..... |

Thanks Cord, There are two holes where the blinker wires feed back up through the tail section that was no longer needed when I relocated my blinkers. So I built a bracket and bolted through the two holes. The tail cuts pretty easy with a hack saw. Then finish up with a dremel. And yes I do plan on eventually paining it black. Waiting for warmer weather to paint. |

Yup, looks great! Time to cut. I see the reflectors fell off too. Got the drummer on. AWESOME. Aron, give me a call if you want to take her around the block as part of the decision making process. I need earplugs. Got the breathers relocated too, just need to do something about mirrors... Defenitly gonna get more attention from the PoPo and I need to see if there following me! That and I get extremly uncomfortable stopped at intersections. |

Reflectors, what are those? Thanks for the test ride Paul. Even my wife was impressed and said, "now that sounds like it has balls". Oh! What size drill do you need? |

For the drummer sound, all I can really say is what a friend told me about my bike: "It sound like two cylinders at war". It's a very unique sound, earplugs mandatory. I find earplugs make things less distracting on a ride anyway. |
