It was a great day to ride. JC and I had a great time. Hit several back roads and blasted 60. The GSP was out but just so happened we were all ways in the right spot. |

Today was great! JC, it was good to meet you. I took that forest service road you suggested on the way out, and it was a blast. I feel like a real Uly rider now that I've had my bike off the pavement. The gravel was fun once I relaxed into it a bit. My only disappointment was the lack of other bikers out for me to photograph. I sat at gixxer corner for probably 20 minutes and only saw one pair of bikes.
FedEx turned out to have an office open today, so I picked up my Garmin Zumo. This thing is freaking awesome! The interface is super intuitive and easy to use. It never lost signal, and it even knew the forest service road. It has a huge location database, too. It found TWO by name with no problem.

We didn't stay to long, we took the long way up "hwy 9" Only saw a few people riding, 8 or so bikes at Dale's. We ate a burger and went to the house. |

It was good to meet you yesterday JC. Sanchez, as always. You have the best toys. Sunshine, that's the plan. We will be there. We may be late though, as I don't have Sanchez' GPS. |

Sorry I didn't meet up with any of you, and get to ride in the mountains yesterday. For now, lets just say that this dog was a bit too inpatient yesterday. I did get to ride local for about an hour and a half, but wish I had a few more turns thrown in on my ride. I have a few things to take care of around the house today, but I should be able to head out to the IMS. I'll post a more definite time later. Meeting tonight 6pm at the Hot Wok, I'll be there. Sanchez: The GPS look great. (Message edited by Fran_Dog on February 25, 2007) |

> 6:00 right? At the Hot WOK? 6:00 PM at the Hot Wok! Map link: http://tinyurl.com/yrhvgc The map only gets you in the general vicinity. 1) Exit Peachtree Industrial Blvd from 285 (2 exits north of I-85) 2) Take the first exit and turn right on Tilly Mill 3) Take the first right (Van Fleet Cir) 4) Take the first left into the shopping center, and follow it all the way around the back until you see Hot Wok. Hot Wok is the big blue arrow here:

Got to the show at 9:30 and left about two. If I had known the weather was going to turn out this nice I would have stayed home. Here are some pictures. http://4166772736.slide.com/p/5/Picture+001?view=t rue |

> we could ride gravel from my house to fontana about 50 miles There should be a bunch of Uly riders at MBIV. We could get a bunch of people together for an official BadWeb Adventure Ride. Would you be interested in planning out a cool dirt route for us? You know those roads better than any other Uly rider who'll be there. |

"You know those roads better than any other Uly rider who'll be there." I'm thinking Mike Powell has already scoped out every dirt road that you can legally ride on out there. He's got a Uly now, doesn't he? |

He's got a Uly now, doesn't he? Yes, he most certainly does. And he knows more ways to get to Suches than anyone I know! |

I dont think the tail will fit, the SS and uly have different frame mounting points for the rear end. It could be done but would take some fab. work. The front fender has been done already, do a search and you should find it. Jolf, get your bike yet?? |

There are so many good dirt roads around Suches that you cannot know all of them. People who live here and use the roads know them better then anyone else. My grandson did a demo ride on the Buell.
