That sucks, I have to work 10 to 8 both Sat. and Sun. I could stop by HDBB to say hi.
Buelet: No, my bike won't have a clean CarFax report. It has a big shining "S" on the title. It still runs great so I'll keep on riding it till she dies. |

no thanks, I'm not hungry.
I sat in the parking lot this morning from 9 to 9:25. Sorry to miss anyone who showed up but I had to get to work. Sundays are fairly slow and I'll have my bike at work. If you want an ego boost about how your bike looks just come on over and take a look at mine.
btw...I think I have another broken oil line..

I must have just missed you. I got there at 9:20 according to the cell. The only person you missed was me anyways so no biggie.

I'm not really sure how I broke the oil line. The only thing that i can really think of is that I tightened it too much and stressed out the end which eventually broke enough that oil leaks out. The last time i messed with it was over a month ago.
The semester is over and I'll have some time to ride Monday afternoon. I'm just trying to get as much riding in before I put the bike up for the winter. |

i hope everyone is enjoying the unseasonal temps!!
yesterday, wade led the two of us on 200 mile loop down to the ohio river and back. lots of elevation change,curves, and varied scenery and geography.
sorry that our new friend xbdanger had to work.....don't put that bike up for the winter.....keep it ready for those weird unseasonal warm days that seem to pop up around here unexpectedly. we are looking forward to meeting you and having you ride with us !!

Yea good ride Eddie. I didnt like riding 450 though. Since you tasted asphalt there, now I am all paranoid when I ride it and its no fun. 150 is a hoot though. Those other roads were fun too. I bet its beautiful down there in the summer.
Question... have you guys traditionally gone to the Chicago MC Show or Cleveland? |

PUT MY BIKE AWAY FOR WINTER, NO WAY! Welcome XB to a great group of enthusiastic Buell owners. To echo fasted, don't put it away just be ready to ride at anytime. We do meet during the colder months at the dealership at 12 noon, the second Saturday of each month. Feel free to attend.
We typically attend the Chicago MC show.
Anyone up for the Hang Over Ride put on by Midwest MC on new years day? I am going and will ride up to Indy around 9 AM. Anyone interested? Let me know and we'll make the plan.
All the tires I posted are SOLD, thank you.

I keep my bike in my living room during the winter. I am ready to ride it out of my apartment anytime. I work from 10am to 8pm on Saturday and Sunday but I am fairly free during the weekdays. If anyone is going to be out on a weekday let me know. |

i am going under the knife to get my titanium bionic body part s removed and my stainless "zipper" reinstalled (see my post from 11/1/06)on dec 28......so i won't be able to make the hangover ride on the 1st..anyone who can make it should. just call or email ron for details....eddie |

Good luck Eddie, I'll put in a good word for you.
I had a nice long drive up to Minnesota for Christmas. Court Canfield arranged a tour of the factory for me, so I stopped there and had a look around. I saw a couple STT's, but they were already covered with plastic and waiting for the crate tops to be put over them. I beleive they were going to one of the IMS shows.

happy new year everyone!!!
this saturday, 1/13/07, at 12pm will be the first meeting of the year for our yet-to-be-renamed motorcycle club.
we need a new name to reflect our non-brand specific group. we will welcome everyone, no matter what they ride. no one has to belong to any other organization to become a member of our club. so be thinking of something clever and/or descriptive for our new handle.
if you have any riding buddies, invite them and bring 'em along. we will be choosing a new name and making plans for the year to come.
although we have lost the official sponsorship of h-d/b of b, jeff still allows us to use the store as a meeting space and staging area for our get- togethers. we also have retained the services of our motoboss, ron hess.
as always, the meeting will be at harley-davidson/buell of bloomington, 12pm, in the conference room.
PLEASE TRY TO MAKE IT PROMPTLY, AND WITH A PROSPECTIVE MEMBER IN TOW.....WE CANNOT HAVE TOO MANY MEMBERS !!!

Sorry about the confusion for the Hang Over Ride. It is held January 1, put on by MidWest MC club. They are located on Harding Street (Hwy 37 turns into Harding after it passes 465) on the near south west side of Indy. The weather was crappy and the turn out small (400) riders. The proceeds from the ride benefit DARMAR House, a special needs children foundation. Now we can plan for next year! |

Sorry I have'nt be on for a while. My work changed the weekly hours, now I work till 5pm on saturdays and get mondays off. I will still try to come sometimes in the summer if I can get it off. Keep events posted, I'll make it when I can...Be safe everyone.... |

greetings all,
our moto club had its first meeting of the year last saturday. the big news is that we have a new name for our group: RIDE
R- for riders
I- for in
D- for different
E- for elements
riders in different elements....
waddyah think?????
anyway, we talked about things to do when it gets warmer out. we will go to the dragstrip in indy for the "run what ya' brung" meets, speedway races, and group rides. also, motorcycle expo in indy is comin' up soon!! we also talked about motoboss ron checkin' out something to do for bradford woods this spring.
On saturday, february 10th, a carfull of bloomingtonians is headin' up to chicago for the cycle world international motorcycle show. we will arrive in chicago early on saturday morning (9-ish, to avoid the crowds) for a day of wandering around rosemont center checkin' out all things cycle related. we want to get there early to have plenty of time to see everything, talk to everyone interesting, and check out stuff to buy. it takes a long time to see everything they have to offer. afterwards, we want to go to one of the many available chicagoland restaurants. anyone who is interested in meeting up with us in chicago should start thinkin' about it now, as the date is only 3 weeks away. we would like to meet up with anyone else going to the show, and then all go to dinner together. so be thinkin' about it and get in touch.
of course, this means that our february meeting will be a little lean without erin, wade, and me. unfortunately, we can't be in two places at once. if anyone is interested in changing the meeting that month, speak up! i would still like to have a february meeting either on the 3rd or 17th if that would be okay

I vote for moving the meeting to the Third.
As for the proposed name RIDE, I like the name but what does it mean really? I think 'Riders In a Different Element' would make a lot more sense. I like it though.
One definition of element...
5. any group of people singled out within a larger group by identifiable behavior patterns, common interests, ethnic similarities, etc.: He worried that the protest rally would attract the radical element.
In that light I think the name is perfect. Good job Eddie and group.
