Hello!!! I am very excited to say we have filled out the charter to become a new BRAG club. We have elected officers as well... Jeff T : Director Charlotte D : Assistant Director Lynn T : Treasurer Kersten H : Secretary We met at 12 noon Sunday April 13th at DOCS Harley Davidson/ Buell in Bonduel (near Green Bay). We had a brief meeting, elected officers, filled out paperwork, decided on a name and then went for a ride. We had SEVEN Buells... COUNT 'EM... I said SEVEN for our first ride!!! And we had a Suzuki rider as well... (we know we will convert him to a Buelligan sooner or later...)... anyhow, not too shabby for a new club. We hope to get 12 to 14 members on the roster... as soon as BRAG national is joined by all... sooooo there you have it. Kayla (the pig) was there, but she seemed more interested in eating than riding. We went to get a hamburger at Crocodile's... don't ask me where that is,though, cause I have no idea what county we were in even... then rode around Shawano/ Green Bay area on some back roads. Our next meeting is May 11th at DOCS at 12 noon. Before then (April 25-27) is Road America where Jeff is planning to race!!! Yay, come on out!!! Charlotte |

Sounds like you have a fun group going there. Keep us Southerners posted so we can link up occasionally. Doc's Zoo is a must see on my list for this season!!! Tell the "Zooker" he can keep it and own a Buell too. Betcha he sells the Zook shortly thereafter. Miss my Yamaha but the X1 is even more fun now that I out grew the need to do a ton and a half. Am I correct in assuming "Doc's Rolling Thunder" replaces your "Wolf River BRAG" thread? Like the new name. Can't wait to see your patch. |

Check out the posting for the Milwaukee Rally in the Milwaukee and SE Wisconsin thread. I a free opportunity to give Buell the recognition it needs in the motorcycle community. Thanks, Bill |

So Post your BRAG Club on the site. If enough do, perhaps the BRAG Clubs will outnumber the Jap Cruiser Clubs in listings. |

Most of our 'officers' will be at Raod America this weekend. I will be there from Saturday around 10 am to 2 pm on Sunday. (Kersten cannot make it... but she is working on a newsletter for our BRAG Club !!!) Jeff Trudell is racing and Lynn Trudell may be racing too. We will be in the 'pits' with other Buell racers apparently... not exactly sure where although I have a description. CJM will grace us with her presence... Call me or I will call you ! Char |

Buell Bash/BattleTrax weekend recap, Saturday was our annual Buell Bash, the weather was great! We had a bunch of riders take out our new Buells for a demo ride. The KC mob came up for the day. We got Jeff a new tire mounted up on his S3 while he was there, thanks for the Biz Jeff! Attendance was a little off from last year but I think it was just too nice of a day. Everyone was out riding! Sunday! Sunday! Sunday! Our second BattleTrax event! Whhooo Hooo! The weather held out for us at last. Temps in the 70s! We started the morning at 6am to set up the course. Jeremy and Larry did a great job on the course. It was HUGE! 2 barrels and lots of very tight corners made it interesting for everyone. We had 44 riders,up 1 from last year but we had over 340 people thru the gate! The riders put in 502 runs by the end of the day so I think everyone got plenty of riding time. The course was big enough that we could get 3 or 4 on the course at one time, this cut down on the wait between rides. We had riders with sportbikes,YSRs,cruisers and dual sport/motards, no touring bikes showed to compete this year. The stunt riders, Team XMX and Kansas City's Most Wanted put on 3 great shows for the crowd. Those guys are just plain nuts! We had a vendors row with lots of stuff to look at and buy. We had Buell riders come from Mo,Kansas,Il,Mn,Ne and of course some of the locals from Waterloo in attendance! What a great day, everything went pretty smooth, I had lots of great help, even a few that didn't know they were going to help me(KCBill)we couldn't have done it without them. All the winners, including 7 year old Mason got a framed certificate to show off that they are the fastest. All the riders got one with their fastest lap time of the day. The winners also recieved a $100.00 gift certificate from the HD/Buell Cycle Center(I'll send yours with your helmet and plaque Sam). The big news(and no surprise to me) is that in the Sportbike class a Buell kicked ass! Sam, from KC ruled! The guy was an animal out there. I have to look at the time cards but I think he won by several seconds faster than anyone else in his class and was running close to the fast times set by the rider that won the Dual Sport/Motard class! Way to go Sam! You ROCK!!!! Well I have to go get ready for work now but I'd like to say thanks again to those that helped make this day possible, without you we couldn't do events like this. I know that lots of people probably think, what's the big deal, just set up some cones and there you go. Well, I want to tell you that it's a lot of work! I, and others put in 13 hours yesterday alone to make this event happen. Thanks to all the people that helped me. You're the best! Ride to the edge! Dave |

Funny Bill, My patch earning days are long over - if your ever here will show you the collection sometime. I'd be more interested in seeing pictures of the three LADIES table dancing!!!!! But I heard that we should be refering to Charlotte as Sister Charlotte after the weekend - heard she was as quiet as a Nun at a prayer conference. |
