B_S, I feel for ya.....I had to ride on the back of Gatordicks bike at the 1rst demos to retrieve a demo bike that went down. That wasn't a fun ride. Hope the bike is a easy fix.... Fran, sounds like we'll all be at T.W.O around the same time. |

Thanks again Sanchez for the rescue operation. I was only an hour late for the party. Bambi....Thank god you lost the photo. Sanchez.....that's bad news about my bike. My worst fears are materializing. I think it might have self detonated like Stealth's. Any ideas what it might be and where do we go from here? Cash flow is low so I might be in trouble for MBIV! Could this be the end of the road for Black_sunshine???? |

Romper Room Ride! Black, Orange, Yellow, Green, Red & Blue Yep, we looked like the Romper Room Crew! Xbullet, Glad you guys came all the way up to join us. Hope all the stop & go doesn't discourage you guys from coming up again. Beautiful Saturday afternoon, guess we couldn't expect NOT to have everyone and their Grandma out. Still hate we had some of those sweet sweepers stole from us. Still enjoyed it, guys. The more seat time I get on the rice burner the more I crave it. |

I'd guess it's either a shattered piston or a broken connecting rod. Probably the rod. We won't know for sure until we get the motor out of the bike. Just browsing around on ebay, the parts prices don't look too bad. Pistons: $100 Connecting rods: $40 Crank: $25 Cylinders: $25 We can't really assess the damage until we get it open though. On the bright side, if we do end up replacing the crank and rods, we could stroke your 9 out to a 12. |

> I might be in trouble for MBIV! Haha, don't sweat it. If you're still bikeless in March, I'll loan you the Nugget. Actually, on second thought, you'll have to ride the Uly. It's still under warranty, so I won't have to worry about the Curse of the Black Sunshine. |

Damn that sucks out loud! Sorry to hear BS. Could it be the retaining nut on the primary? I heard those make a pretty big racket when they back off. Could be the nibblet pin came off the wobbler shaft...I know...not funny. I'm with Bambi though, we'll have you up and going for MB-IV if at all possible. MrsG and I are about to head up to take pictures, and show her around the Great North Georgia Mountains. We won't be on the bike, so if y'all are up, keep an eye out for the truck. I know it sound sacreligious but my hand has felt real bad this week, it's kind of got me paranoid. Going back to the doctor's on the 24th. Hope to see y'all up there, if we meet, I can get some action shots of y'all if you'd like. |

You guys have fun today, I have to work. I thought I had to work yesterday so I didnt ride. I didnt end up being on the schedule, but then it was too late to catch up. Still only have -200 miles on the new bike. Who's riding next weekend? Jack and I put our Valentines Day gifts to each other on layaway yesterday. Im giving him a M1 Super 90 Benelli 12 guage. He's giving me a pistol grip Mossberg 500 20 guage. We'll be having a trip to my parents in Yatesville to shoot soon and have to go past a little country restaurant named Buckners on the way. Anybody interested in trying another shooting day? It's a 2 hour ride one way on the scenic route. |

Damn BS!! If you need any help lemme know. Just for piece of mind, I would not buy a used cylinder, unless you plan to bore it, and then yours might still be good. I wonder if your oil pump drive gear took a dump?? You did just change the oil right. What was happening before it quit?? |

> Could it be the retaining nut on the primary? That was our first guess, but the nut is still firmly in place. > What was happening before it quit?? A really loud clanging noise. It was so loud I thought *my* bike had broken! I don't think he lost oil pressure because the engine would still turn at first. It rotated a couple of times and then stopped after we got it to my house. It feels more "jammed" than "fused" if that makes sense. |

Ok...I'm just about ready for March Badness IV!!! Got me a riding jacket & gloves from She Rides at T.W.O. today, got me an Arai helmet and some boots...now we just gotta put the foot pegs on and I got to figure out how to stay on the back of the bike when it's moving. Found a spot that I will definitely be closing my eyes while riding on back of said bike. Had me a BigA$$ burger at T.W.O - Buellish, Duc_htr & Mountainrider - it was good meeting you guys - always nice to put a face with the names. Shred, Fran-dog, and Sanchez - as usual it was great to see you guys! Is it March yet?!?!?!?! |

I got to figure out how to stay on the back of the bike when it's moving Get Glitch to buy a Uly!! I always felt like I was coming off the back of the M2. I love that backrest on the Uly. I can just sit and relax.....except on roads like that! I found out I'm not a twistie queen - I like the long sweepers much better. Looking forward to meeting you in March. We really had a great time last year. Kristi

Fran, check out Shred's foot position in that first shot of him. Turning his heel in toward the bike allows him to put his knee out and shift more weight off the side. I think that's the missing ingredient to popping the cherry on your knee sliders. Of course, you could also employ the Sanchez Technique and break both sliders in at the same time along with your arm and the side of your bike. |
