The show is the 9th 10th and the 11th. I would say we meet at HDB for a light lunch (I'll provide) say around 11am then ride out form there. shyter you know the area a little better so maybe you could plane a rout? I'll see about getting a area at HDB for the round-up. |

I've waited long enough to pull the body off of the M2 I guess I could keep it together until the show. Is there bike parking at or near the convention center. I'm still not comfy leaving my toys exposed and unattended? |

The Cycle World IMS is the 12 13 and 14th. http://motorcycleshows.com/motorcycleshows/static/ staticHtml.jsp?id=359156 There is some bike parking, but I would recommend taking metro. Parking info: http://www.dcconvention.com/directions/parking.asp There are plenty of restaurants nearby, yes , including a Hooters. Saturday is the day to meet I think. See you there! |

It's manufacturers and customs and vendors and food and models . Its about 1/3 of the size of the d.c. show. Buell is not there as solo manufacturer, but shown with Balto. HD booth. Most locals like to ride up if not to cold . Because motorcycle parking is close to the door. don't forget to download the $5 off coupon from the site. More details to come on meeting up there |

Paging Ras: I'll drop you an email on Fri about MB IV. Also trying to set some kind of date for a Res. Ride. I'm leaning towards the end of May, how does that work with the Frederick "BRAG" schedule? |

The throttle shaft in my X1 snapped in half yesterday. The good news is DaveS can get me a new one for under $90. Does anyone have the skill and equipment to reset the tps value. I'm in Ocean City and I'm reluctant to go to a dealership, in particular the local one. I am willing to travel to the Metro area but would rather deal with a helpful individual than a dealer. Or if anyone wants to come to the beach. SteveH |

Steve, I don't have the tools to do that. It's a simple enough procedure to reset the tps that even your 'local' dealer should be able to do it without too much drama. Seen any Fischers running around down there? |

Fischer is still at that address, but no evident activity. Next time I'll just knock on the door. SteveH |

Greeting Fellow Buellers! First time post from a NoVA and DC BRAG rider... Attached are few pics from our ride today. As always, Jose used his internal GPS system and found yet "another" way to get up to Frederick HD! A lot of fun and the weather was just unbelievable! At Frederick HD/Buell, we met up with "joe" who works as a staff member and happens to ride a kick butt White S1. He let us know that this coming year, Frederick's Buell Racing Team will be running FOUR XBRRs. Yes, you read right, FOUR! Wow! Talk about commitment to the brand! On the way back home, one of our DC BRAG members (Brian) took his first ever ferry ride across the Potomac. Many thanks to Paul for footing the $2 bucks per bike! For details on the ferry, check out: http://canal.mcmullans.org/whites_ferry.htm The ride and Buell camaraderie was awesome (as usual!) I'll be posting more stuff on the various threads as time allows. I'm seriously contemplating calling my thread: "Confessions of a newbie Bueller (and Rider!)" I'm learning tons of stuff about my bike both the easy way (reading about it first on BWB) and the hard way (ignoring the wisdom and figuring it out on my own) Enjoy the pics! (Follow on postings..) Ride Safe! SpOps (aka Sebastian) '03 XB9S(T) (The "T" is my rendition of trying to create a Sport Touring bike out of an "S" model..) PS: Please keep the folks serving in our Armed Forces and First Responders in your thoughts and prayers so we can still enjoy the freedom our Nation seems to take for granted... Thanx! S. |

Pics from our DC BRAG ride up to Frederick HD/Buell. This one is the obligatory shot of the bikes. Notice how Jose's VROD is trying to impersonate a Buell! (Jose's S3T is awaiting much needed parts...) At least, that's his story! =)

Joe from Frederick HD/Buell and his kick butt White S1. Yet another golden nugget found on EBay! The bike needed rescuing! Think we should start a Buells on EBay Rescue Society?

Cool shots, Sebastian! What a fun ride, I doubt February will be as nice but we'll do the same ride at least one more time this year, with a few different wrinkles thrown in, hopefully no dirt roads unless somebody shows up on a Uly. |

Ok, whos going to the IMS? I figure we can all meet at the Buell booth at some time for a group photo, if people want to go to chinatown later to eat there's a bunch of options, yes including the Hooters. There is a Health and Fitness expo at the Convention center along with the IMS, and the Monster Jam is going on down the street at the Verizon center this weekend, so plenty of options to do in DC this weekend. |
