Us too! We ran up to IKEA and bought stuff of a room as "our" gift to each other. I still scored a couple things. Best of all is an Ipod. Now I need to find a good setup for in helmet speakers. |

I live close to the Cornelius Pass and Baseline intersection. I probably won't be fully healed from a surgery for another week, but feel free to pm, or i'll see the happenings on this thread. How'd you like the '07' airbox? Very noticable noise or performance over stock. |

Welcome Buellbals! I'm in Banks. I have a friend that live very close to you. Aron, my neighbor and I may go mess around a bit this afternoon if you want to swing out to hear the Drummer. Cord |

Cord, if I didn't get home so late I would have loved to. I am pretty much only available on Weekends or if i take vacation. Three day weekend coming up though. Buellballs, I did not notice any performance difference with the 07. But I think it is still a good upgrade if you plan on getting a free flowing exhaust. I am still running stock pipe but will be upgrading soon. I think the two go hand in hand. The noise level is very minimal and does not bother me. |

Hey Balls! Welcome! Looks like all four of us are within ten minutes of each other. Aron and I met at the Starbucks at the intersection Cornell and Stucki when we rode. Seems like a good meeting point. I did a few miles yesterday, still 75 miles short of getting the new bike broken in... Getting quite impatient. Did Germantown from Kaiser to skyline. It was horrible, no Ice but I was slipping all over the ice melt and don't think I was ever over 30 MPH. Skyline wasn't bad except at the very west end. We need to get together and get some turns in before too long, but I'm not holding my breath for any twisties until spring. |

If the weather is nice tomorrow, lets meet at noon at Starbucks? I'll only have about an hour two at the most. Anyone else up for a ride? |

Unfortunately my schedule leaves little time to ride on weekends. Sundays are possible but most of my free time is mon, tue, wed. I've been to Browns Camp too, but on a quad. Too bad every time I take it somewhere it breaks. Currently stuck in reverse. |

Quads is what I ride at Browns camp as well. I guess I should have been more specific. Just got back, what a muddy mess but fun. I can meet at noon for a short ride if you are still up for it Paul. How about you Cord? (Message edited by xbswede on December 30, 2006) |

Cord, nice Wrangler. I saw a few up there and one that got stuck pretty bad. I still love going 4 wheeling on Quads (less expensive to repair)
You will never see my Buell this dirty though. |

Very Cool. If my hand wasn't all messed up I would come on out. If next weekend looks good I will give a shout and see if you are free. Then we could ride over to Starbucks and meet up with Paul. Currently it is 28 degrees at my house. Still cold and I have to wash my Quad. |

Twas' a good ride, even solo. I look forward to being in more company soon, but I ran CPR to 30 then a quick turn around Sauve Island. Warmed up on 23rd then home. 18 miles left and Scarlet is "broken in" Got almost to the hero bumps on the rear, some room left on the front... I dont know what next weekend holds for me yet, I'll keep an eye on the weather and watch here for updates. Aron, hope your hand heels up fast, and I look forward to meeting the rest of you... BB |

Cord, I have a Blast you can take the test on a and get then endorsment. With a little protice I'm sure you can pass the skills test, especialy on a Blast. You have to promise to still take the rider safety class though... |

Knowledge is power ^_^ I want to get out on mine some more, get used to it. Let me think on it. |

Take all the time you need, just give me warning so I can charge the battery. By all means get familiar with the 9, but take the test on the smallest bike that gets you an unlimited endorsment. AKA the Blast, much easier to handle in the low speed test situations. Download the pratice manual and practice in a parking lot too... |

I took the MSF course and looking back now I am glad that I used the bike provided by the class. All the bikes they had were 250cc or under so they were easy to ride. you can really manhandle the bike and the power is forgiving so you don't surprise yourself. I know a couple of guys who bought Harleys and figured they could go get an endorsement with a little practice. Wrong. Having the heavier bike makes the endorsement test that much harder. IMO I would use the blast and get legal then hone your skills on the 9. |

Anybody know of a good sports bar in Hillsboro? I'd like to watch a game on espn2 but i don't have good cable. Thinking the place would need to have a few TVs because a bowl game is on at the same time so most would prefer to watch that instead of basketball. PS saw the pics of a borrowedbike, that looks awesome, did you swap for the cherry bomb rims too. |

Phil, *Used to be a hole in the wall right by the airport on Cornell that wasn't bad for a game. Same parking lot as the Burgerville. Buffalo Wild Wings by REI in The Streets of Tanasbourne is great. Good wings, clean, lots of TV's no Smoke. The cheerfull off of 217 (Just north of the mall) is a classic. Lots of smoke, cheap eats. "Scarlet" Is Cherry Bomb through and through, even the wheels! Dave S Custom setup... |

2nd vote for Buffalo Wild Wings. Malones across from Applebees on 185 just past Cornell is a cool spot too. |

Thanx for the quick responses. Looks like I'll be headed to tanasbourne around 4, stop in say hi if you want. I'll have a red C on a white hat(cincinnati bearcats). I'll be drinking not riding. PS sorry for using the word "awesome", forgot it was on the list of banned words for this year. |
