Aaah! Now I see why Bill and Mike left me strange "off topic" VM's on my cell phone. The previous three messages from me where actually submitted through the email reply submittal technique quite some time ago...they must have been cached in hyperspace somewhere, only to be released yesterday. Weird! I'll come back here to the forum and post directly next time to avoid cornfusion. Thanks for your offers of help though. I really appreciate it. To rehash: 1) I gave Bill a good supply of the high/low temp metal duct tape for covering stock holes. 2) I have 1" and 1.5" drill bits now and can help set up the air box and other ecm considerations as well. Check two of my previous posts to get an idea of what I've been up to regarding aribox/ecm. http://www.badweatherbikers.com/cgibin/discus/show .cgi?tpc=37&post=748373#POST748373 http://www.badweatherbikers.com/cgibin/discus/show .cgi?tpc=37&post=762499#POST762499 |

Alrighty then, thanks for clearing that up. I will be doing mine some time this week, as well as mount the magnets for the new tankbag. Chad, I will be using the hole saw to keep the tops and bottoms of the cuts nice and rounded, then connect them with the dremel. The dremel is the single best tool in my garage, I love that thing. |

Looks like the weather should hold up pretty nicely this weekend. Anyone want to head out? How about the Texaco on Bogus and Hill Rd. at Noon on Sunday for a quick ride through Bill's route? |

If you men are considering a ride this weekend, I would love to tag along, I'll be on a Ully from the shop, which I hope to purchase soon. This will be my first ride with the group so take it easy on me. But please don't cut any distance or technical sections because of me. |

Hi Neal, Is this the Neal from High Desert HD (sales)? I love your profile comment on "How Buell can improve motorcycles": "Instate a law banning all red neck choppers using non-totaled Buells". You can find those from time to time for sale down at the Motorcycle Salvage on Chinden. Welcome, -Tim |

Correction to my last post, It is a Jackson's Shell station just north of Hill Rd. not a Texaco. Hope to see you there. |

Bill Tell me the BEEMER BOY only gave you a warning, didn't appear to any of the five witnesses standing in front of the store that you did anything wrong. Johnny was pretty large around the waist, and on a import to boot, probably has bike and pen__ envy. Not a single person around liked seeing an american being pulled over by a import.Inconciable |

What ever happened to the "Made in America Act" Harley makes an excellent Police bike, what if Buell made one, think about it. |

Hey Great ride Sunday Gentlemen! Neal where did you go from Hwy 55 and Hill rd? yes just a warning about lane changing no signal and speed a little high. Glad he didn't see the wheelie in front of the dealer 15 minutes earlier. These Buell's make it hard to act your age! |

That was fun, minus the sliding around on all the crap on the road. Seems like we can make that ride until the snow comes down pretty low. Bill, I think you act your age quite well. You are 23 aren't you? |

No kidding! Working outside is fun, it sure makes it difficult to dig holes when the ground is frozen. Who's up for a Lowman ride this weekend? Maybe we should make it really interesting and go to Stanley, it was only -20 there this morning. |

Yeah Sam. If you get that ugly full fairing you'll have pretty good wind protection for your legs. |

Maybe someone has a enclosed trailer we can load some bikes into and head south. Splitting the costs will reduce costs and add to the fun factor once there |

How far south do we need to go? By the way. I asked this earlier and it must have got lost... Are you the "Neal" from High Desert HD sales? |

He is one in the same. Oh, and I'm trying to score a trailer sometime. That would be real nice this time of year. |

Yes I'am a Salesman. But my history is as a mechanic for the big four, KTM, and Seadoo. My interests growing up (I quit growing at 35)were and still are sport bikes, dirt bikes, and jet ski's. although the jet ski's are out and kids are in. I've been with H/D-Buell since 1992 When a great friend Steve McCall hired me to work at Beaverton Harley, Seadoo, Kawasaki(No Buells yet)We moved to Boise in 1997 to work at Dicks old store. |

Very cool, glad to hear it's YOU Neal. You know, I really love my Uly and want to thank you for having enough faith in the overall design that you knew even a short bastard like me could be happy on one. I hope to ride more with BAB...I've only rode a couple times (just like a poser, huh?). But I always seem to cross paths with BAB due to my riding with BVR so much. Anyway, where, when, how long and how far south are you guys thinking of going in that trailer. |

I'm just throwing this out there...but if you want warm temps, you'll need to go pretty far South. So, I checked if any of the routes from the Buell's Twisty Road Poll where warm this time of year. Well, how about, the Angeles Crest Highway (California Highway 2)?

Well, we went all the way to Stanley. But, it was so nice we decided to go to the North Pole. Great quick ride. Santa says "Hello". |
