I e-mailed them to Steve to put up on our Brag site .. if your e-mail server can take it - I'll send 'em to you btw -- this Saturday, another minor wrenching day, Jason is coming by with his Goat, has a few projects, coming with a friend of his that also works at Buell, Steve and Toni will be stopping by ... so, come on over ... also, and this is a biggy - provided they arrive in time, and provided I can get the trees powdercoated in time, the 28th will be a major wrenching day over here. Can you say - inverted forks on the M2 ... So the next two Saturdays are garage days over here ... |

Count me in for this weekend if the weather is nice but next weekend I am going home so I'll have to see the forks after they are put on. Maybe then you won't be riding on that water bed you call a bike . It's suppose to be halfway decent tomorrow so if anyone is up for riding LETS GO!!! Matt |

Just a heads up for everyone..... possibly the final wrenching day and get together as a group. (Aside from IMS- but that doesn't count as part of the season) http://www.brewcitybrag.org/e107_plugins/forum/forum_viewtopic.php?32.post Brian |

Hey Brian, I don't know if you got my phone message this morning so I'll post the information here. I talked with Danny this morning and he says you should change the fork oil in the X1 front-end. He also said that you should not use the Screaming Eagle Fork Oil because it is too thick for that front-end. He suggests that you use the Type-E fork oil. You will also need to change the seals as we discussed. I also have the Service Manual sheets you were looking for. Bud |

Yeah, well, I have even bigger news.... Effective pretty much immediately, B.R.A.G. no longer exists. November 2, 2006 To: All U.S. Buell Dealers, AROs and SRLs Subject: BRAG to be discontinued; membership benefits open up to ALL Buell owners Dear Buell Dealer: Since the club's formation, members of the Buell Riders Adventure Group (BRAG) have been some of Buell Motorcycle Company's biggest fans and some of our very best mutual customers. Based on the feedback we've received from them and from you, we're making significant changes to BRAG. Specifically, we are phasing out the BRAG membership program, including clubs. This means, effective immediately, we will no longer take membership applications or renewals for membership. Beginning in November 2006, we will be rolling out a more comprehensive (and we believe better) approach to our interactions with owners. These interactions will primarily take place through www.buell.com and plans for expanded event presence. Most importantly, we're opening things up to all Buell owners. Overview: More specifics will be announced over the next few months; until then, here's an overview of the changes: A new Owners section of www.buell.com is being created. This section will be THE destination to find information about local Buell owner clubs and events, as well as the place to communicate with other Buell owners. Look for these enhancements in early 2007. FUELLŪ magazine will continue, and be available at no cost to Buell owners who reside in the United States. Owners simply need to go to the Owners section of www.buell.com and update their online profile to receive FUELL in 2007. If they do not have an online profile, they must create one in order to receive (or to keep receiving) this magazine. The annual Buell Homecoming will continue and will be open to all Buell owners. It is tentatively planned for June 2007. We will continue to offer special hospitality for Buell owners at races, rallies and International Motorcycle Shows. In fact, our offerings will be enhanced. Look for more details in the near future. Some previous BRAG member benefits (e.g., Shipping, Roadside Assistance Program, Travel Insurance) will be available to all Buell owners, for a fee and where applicable. Local gatherings of Buell riders, such as the Wicked Twisty tours, will continue to be promoted via FUELL and, starting in 2007, at the Owners section of www.buell.com. Existing BRAG clubs are encouraged to continue; however, those with BRAG in the title will need to adopt new names. In addition, each dealer will be responsible for obtaining insurance of their club and/or dealer-sponsored events. Attached is a list of Frequently Asked Questions and answers so that you are prepared to answer questions Buell owners may have over the next few weeks. These FAQs will also be prominently posted on www.buell.com. The bottom line is that we are improving the privileges and ownership experience for all Buell owners more than ever before. And we're giving you the flexibility to engage sport bike customers the best way you see fit in your market. We hope you're as excited about these forthcoming changes as we are! More information will be coming in future issues of FUELL magazine and at www.buell.com. Hang on; it's going to be an exciting ride! If you have specific questions about BRAG please call BRAG at 888.432.BRAG. Your SPOC representative can assist with all non-BRAG related inquires. Best of Roads Ahead, Jon Flickinger, President and Chief Operating Officer and Erik Buell, Founder and Chief Technical Officer We are going to have an interesting meeting and a *LOT* to discuss on Thursday. I'd like everyone who would like to continue with Brew City, be at the meeting Thursday. Thanks...

So long as Hal's is still willing to sponsor us to even a minimal degree, this change will not be a problem. If not, then it will all be up to us. I foresee the possibility of adding new members, who own other brands of bikes, into our mix. If that happens, I believe that it will be good for us, good for Hal's and good for Buell. See ya Thursday! |

Brew City Riders as a possible name suggestion. It would be interesting to know the dealership's comments on this. Also, Blake or the admins of the site here are going to be a little busy changing the various StormFront names once the dust settles. I wouldn't worry about changing your own web site name since "B.R.A.G." is being discontinued. If the corp does contact you just throw some verbage up that it stands for "BrewCity Riders Adventure Group". (gotta run, bye) edit: or "Brew City Bike Riders Adventure Group" to get all the letters used in there. (okay, really gone now... ) (Message edited by mikej on November 07, 2006) |

Hey Y'all... who wants to go visit Brain Nallin and his creation? I am trying to see if he is around this weekend and when he ships it to FMJ. Call me on my cell (608) 446-0493... dude! I am doing some mindless stuff at work today so I can talk briefly... although the big boss lady's office is next to my cube. I have never been in a cube city before. I am not too partial to it, really... |

The club formally known as Brew City B.R.A.G. will now be called....<drum> Brew City Thunderbikes Hals has stated they are more than willing to continue supporting, and sponsoring Brew City as long as it's financially feasible to do so. Thanks Bud for your hard work on helping keeping the club going. A big thanks goes out to Kirk as well. |

Well, Kirk has a business to run. He's a seriously *NICE* guy, but 1st and foremost he's got a business to run, and to make a profit. If the insurance costs, that come out of *HIS* pocket outweigh the gains to his business, it doesn't make financial sense to continue to support a 'lil group of us. But I'm sure Kirk does understand we help in getting business in to the dealership. There is no better advertisement than word of mouth from a bunch of enthusiasts. We also help out in various dealer functions. Especially demo rides. If all else fails, with insurance costs, we can look at being folded in to the HOG group. While HOG doesn't like separate 'lil cliques, I don't think there is much they could do about it if the chapter allows it. It does help that Hals HOG group is the largest in the world |

I'll be puttering around in my local area for the next three or four days. I don't expect to go very far or fast. I'll only go out for a couple of hours each day. Kind of a "Farewell Cruise". See the sights, breath in the scenery and the memories... |

Looks like it has been pretty quiet around here. It appears that the bulk of my riding next year will be commuting to and from work. Somehow, I see having a second kid, putting a temporary cramp on riding! |
