They still have Buells in Sanford too. I am still working on the Bike Night at Baldwin Park. I've been so busy setting up holiday kiosks around the state that I haven't been able to finalize the event. I'll keep everyone posted. |

Don't you just hate it when work gets in the way? |

They still have the Buells in Sanford and in the old Fern Park location but, they only had '06's in the Ulysses. They couldn't get the bike and they were quoting two different prices. List price and $300 over. I had to go elsewhere to get what I wanted and at the price I wanted. Ask for details and I'll try and meet you at a bike night to give you them. I've got a question. Why are the stores under two different names? |

Not a clue on the name game between the two stores. I wonder if they are hoping to venture into other sport bikes down the road too. How would you all just like to bite the bullet and meet informally at my Baldwin Park location? How does Wednesday, 11/29 sound? Say 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM? Let me know and I'll provide directions. |

The address for our Baldwin Park Barnie's Coffee location is: 4846 New Broad St. Orlando, FL 32814 If you are heading east on Colonial Drive from the Fashion Square Mall area you will turn left on Humphries which is less than half-a-mile from Semoran Blvd. Stay on Humphries as you enter Baldwin Park. You will come up on a Publix grocery store on your left. Pull in their parking lot and our shop is to the immediate right of Publix. Frank, would you please send the get-together information to our local BRAG mailing list (whoops!, am not supposed to use that word any more?)? Hope to see many of you Wednesday. Paul |

Well, we had our first Orlando get-together at my Barnie's Coffee location in Baldwin Park tonight. Three braved the nasty rain and made it in. Keith and Isham rode their Buells and I drove my car as I returned from Hilton Head this afternoon and got soaked to the bone and didn't feel like putting my wet gear back on to ride into town. I believe it was an enjoyable first night and I would encourage any and all local Buellers to ride over next Wednesday evening. We meet from 6:00 to 8:00 PM. Isham expressed interest in attempting to organize some local rides which sounds like a super idea to me. If anyone needs directions, please PM me. See you next week! |

Sorry I didn't make it. I got wet earlier, then had a out of town visitor. Looking forward to next week. |

I hope to see many of you tomorrow evening at our Barnie's Coffee location in Baldwin Park. It will begin at 6:00 PM and unofficially end at 8:00 PM. No rain in the forcast, so hopefully we'll have a good turnout. Remember, we serve all sorts of sandwiches and soups as well as a variety of beverages, so bring your appetite. |

We had our second Bueller get-together in Baldwin Park last night. Keith, Frank and Rich attended this week and we had some great conversation again. We had four Buells parked directly in front of the store (well, three really, as Keith didn't want Rich's and my older xB's stinking up his new one). I someday envision an impressive line of Buells that will make all the locals taken notice. A couple of guys stopped and took pictures of mine with their cell phones before anybody else arrived, so they are catching eyes. Hope to see more of you next week on the 13th starting at 6:00 PM. |

Rich Actually, it's Keith, not Ken, but I've been called much worse so nice to meet you too :-) We were talking about GPS units and I was weak today & broke down & ordered a Zumo ($745 shipped). Merry Christmas to me! Keith |

That may or may not be next week depending on how quickly I get it installed on both bikes. I have some alternate RAM bases coming, but I doubt I will get everything I need by then. Since the unit has a rechargeable battery (one of the reasons I really liked it vs the normal streetpilots), I can charge it up and bring it along to play with even without it being installed on the bike. The prices have been dropping - I got it from Anchor Express. $729 + $15 shipping. Ordered the other RAM stuff from CycleGadgets. Considering that it includes RAM mounts for both bike & car (with hardwire & cig lighter cables), the price isn't too bad compared to the alternatives. Got the Zumo today. Had installed the wiring on both bikes this weekend, and got it mounted on the Road King tonight with the handlebar mount included. I should get the bases I ordered Wed which will let me attach it to the left mirror hole on the Buell, and the windshield frame on the FLHRS. Went out for a test ride tonight - this thing rocks! It's my first mapping GPS, so I might be easily impressed. Rich - you gotta get one of these |

There is a slight chance that I will be a bit late arriving tomorrow night for our weekly get-together. Please feel free to park on the sidewalk in front of the store if I'm not there when you arrive. Looking forward to seeing many of you tomorrow night. |

We had another enjoyable evening of conversation last night. Frank, Keith and I were in attendance. Doug stopped by for the first time and Dora made it toward the tail end. Rich? Isham? Will we see you again? |
