So far the stator tests good, I need to do an ac voltage check but waiting for the battery to charge. Yeah I am still under the aftermarket warranty but who wants to wait 2 weeks plus to get their bike back when I can fix it in the parking lot in less than 30min for a tick above the cost of the deductable. WOO HOO, she appears to be charging again. new voltage regulator installed and 13.9v after it is running!! Stealth, I need to say thank you now cuz your old rear shock is heading to Traxxion Dynamics to get a work over. I noticed while looking over the bike that my rear shock is weeping. That explains the poor handling out of the back end. |

your old rear shock is heading to Traxxion Dynamics to get a work over. That is awesome man! Glad my spare parts are useful. Hopefully I will be back down before too long to finish what we started. And then some... |

In absence of a Pimp Ramp like LightningDave has, what's the best way to get my Uly into the back of my truck without breaking anything? I have a 2x10 board about 10' long with a shorter 2x6 screwed to the bottom that we used to load my M2 when the wheel bearing crapped out. In that case I had several friends helping, and no one was on the bike. I'm confident I can ride 10' in a straight line, but I'm not so sure the board will support me and the Uly both. Any suggestions? |

You could buy my trailer!! Take off the tailgate, use the bumper to support the board and "walk" the bike up. Stand next to it with it running and feather the clutch and gas to get it up the ramp. Thats how I do it anyway. |

I'd surely love to have a trailer, but I just have no place to put it. My driveway is a big "U" so there's no place off to the side, and I can't get a trailer into my back yard because the gate is too narrow. I can't even widen the gate because there's a big ass tree in the way. I'll experiment with walking the bike up the ramp. My driveway is pretty steep on one side, so maybe I can just back right up to the hill. |

back right up to the hill That is what I was going to suggest. That is how I got my bike in my little truck prior to buying a trailer. I was able to park at the bottom of my driveway, which made the ramp to truck angle almost zero.} |
