Friday is going to be nice, I shouldn't even need the heated gear. It think high 60's ....never can tell. It might even snow. Wait and see...
I'll ask one more time....
Anyone riding this friday or this weekend in the hills? |

local trackday at no problem raceway here in louisiana sunday. pickin up a tricked out sv650. yall have a great Thanksgiving and some great riding!

Smoke, I'm in Ruston, LA right now visiting my grandparents for Thanksgiving. It's a shame I didn't ride. I thought I'd freeze if I brought the bike, but the weather's been beautiful. |

You guys make me feel so good talking about the SV650. I will never do it the justice you guys do but makes me feel good that not only Kdan liked it but you guys are real supporters as well.
glad he is out of town or as beautiful as it is we would be out riding rather than me working on my bonus project like I should.
It's been soooo tempting though. Been jealous of M_B getting to ride yesterday. I was stuck here working. Had a wonderful "Egg Samich" as my traditional Thanksgiving meal. What yummmm, 
We are going riding Sunday when he gets back. Can't believe I actually have the "itch" to ride! What have you guys done to me! |

That looks sweet....
I should have the Duc' out of the shop soon. I'll post pic' when I get her back. Won't have paint yet. Still thinking about color. More than likely dark silver/red wheels and yellow plates. Other thoughts are black/red wheels.
Picked up a new suit MX-1 alpine star Red and white, wanted Black/white.
Red/white was the only color I could get for 650.00....New in bag w/ liner suit.
Newenough leather's sell for 1199.00, so for that price I didn't care. |

I hope everyone had a great Turkey Day!
Melissa and I and our new Foster child, Tinia, went up to my parents house for the holiday.. which happens to be just a few minutes north of the dragon.
But alas, I did not trailer the bike up for the friday morning run through the dragon, even though the weather was perfect for it.
If you have a prayer to spare, please send it towards Huntsville. We lost a local rider on friday. He went out for a ride in the twisties, and never made it back home. His body was found Saturday morning. His name was Jeremia. I am sure his family could use all of the prayers they can get.

I'm back from scenic Granger, Indiana. Man, that place is flat. The holiday was good with family, but I'm happier now to be reunited with my Bambi and will be even happier this afternoon when I get reunited with my BIKE! Heading to SMHD at noon and then we're riding to the Mall from Hell to see Happy Feet on the I-Max. Anyone interested is welcome to join us. |

Hey Smoke, that SV650 looks like it's been on steroids for a while. Sure doen't look like my 'zuki.
Shred, don't know about passing but I did do a bit better about keeping up today. Man, it felt good! More I ride her the better I like her. Specially now that Kdan lowered the front forks and we lowered the seat. Feel way more confident and in control of her. |
