At least the News is making an issue of it now just as winter is setting in. Hopefully it will be out of their system by MB4! I can't wait. |

Blake, Many of us do "take it to the track", but you can still have fun in the mountains. We rarely break 80mph up in the hills and as I have posted on the quick board, too many people with too little riding exp. with to big of a bike go up to "race" and get hurt or killed. |

Blake glad you looked in our cave..... I'm sure Courts was garnering your attention. So what was the attention getter? I think Gregs link was posted after Courts post. But anyway... I did get a laugh out of the creative wisdom part We like people in our cave...come again. This isn't the first news special about mountain riding. The locals are getting pissed, a lot of newbie's and people racing are getting people killed. They didn't talk about all the crazy cars and import car clubs turning the mountains into a racetrack, killing people, and going off cliffs. N12R, Sorry I didn't ride last night. Its been a long week. Anyone up for a different ride sunday? Not the loop? Gotta go family duties call... Sam hope the ankle is getting better. |

Exactly. I don't think you or I or any responsible sport biker should feel like targets of that report. I do think it was a piece of reporting that was sorely warranted. Thirteen dead on that one route is beyond obscene. The one thing that seemed strange was that the reporter seemed perplexed as to how law enforcement could solve the problem. Radio ahead speed trap is too easy with todays video cams and such. They start writing tickets and the problem will diminish in a hurry. |

Blake, You're right, 13 dead on one road is horrible. However, just to play devil's advocate, 13 deaths in 300 accidents is not that bad. That would imply that most of the accidents are not the "bullet-bike" riders going 120mph into the grill of a truck. They're some rider who just can't quite make it around a turn, who slides into a guardrail or ditch. I haven't been riding the loop nearly as long as most of the folks here, but I haven't seen too many people running so fast up there. I see people riding a hell of a lot faster on the highways around the city. Regardless, the story was pretty well-balanced, and mostly got the point across that it's not all riders, just a select few. |

You see the report from tonight when they took some lasers up there? They got some cat going 153. You know that wasn't a Buell. I still think the media sucks. They haven't responded to my damn e-mail either. See if I keep sending their morning crew diet tips if that's the thanks I get. |

My Uly is finally back in one piece. After snapping both levers, I decided to shorten them this time. Charlie and I cut and ground them in the Buell Barn, and then I coated them in Plasti Dip.

Ya'll don't forget the party and bike show this weekend: SMHD/Buell 8th Anniversary Party } Looks like there may even be a pro stunt team to show up. Cameron wants to see a strong Buell showing. So all y'all that only show at special events, this is one to be sure. So mark your calenders now for November 11th for SMH-D&BUELL's 8th anniversary, and help come up with ideas for this one to be the biggest and best one yet. You'll be more than retarded if you let this one slip away. There will be the bike contest/show as well. Let the trash talk begin! |

If you would like to get all the info concerning the change from BRAG to Buell Owners Group look here: http://www.buell.com/en_us/owners/ownersmain.asp?i laction=init The way I see is that nothing will change concerning the 3%ers other than calling ourselves the 3%ers rather that 3% Bragging rights club. We kinda stayed away from "Official" BRAG stuff because of the forms, liabilities...etc. The only reason we had officers and meetings was because we had to meet the standards for BRAG. As long a Cameron continues to support us like he does (I don't see why he wouldn't) now we can be our own entity. We can still have meetings if ya'll like, just speak up. I guess my power trip is over so to speak...hehehe. March Badness IV shouldn't change except for to being even more kick a$$ this time around. Concerns...comments??? |

B_S, you will go down in the history books as the last official standing B.R.A.G. president of the 3%ers. So, you can still hang on to that... right? Also, why not keep the "Braggin rights club" name? I realize that they don't want the "B.R.A.G." attachment any longer, but the word "bragging" is just a commonly used word, which they don't own. Or is it that you guys just want to change it? Looks like you folks had fun at the party!! Wish we could have been there. Great costumes! B_A, how was that ankle treating ya? Sanches... what the hell are you drinkin' man?? That stuff will make you go bald, and give you dusty farts! Aint you got no culture? |

I think as long as we still communicate on here we are good. If someone wants to organize something then thats cool too. I don't see it as much of a change for us to be honest (not that I am a pivotal decision maker or anything). My 2 cents. I really like this group. I hope it sticks. As far as SMHD goes, I agree with you B_S. I don't see that their support would change. They have alway been great to us and it benefits everyone for them to do that. |

> Also, why not keep the "Braggin rights club" name? I agree. We're just "Bragging" now instead of "BRAGging." > Sanches... what the hell are you drinkin' man?? It's Will's fault! He's a bad influence. You can't see it in the picture, but he also made me smoke cigarettes, shoot up heroin, and club a baby seal. As we all know, clubbing baby seals is a "gateway" crime. Next thing you know, I'll be parking with my wheels on the parking space line and leaving the toilet seat up. |
