I've gotten out of working this weekend, so I'd love to go out Sunday. Maybe go up to Lowman or something. I'll check around with others as well. Nate are you still alive and kicking? |

Bill or Jason, do you know if the girl selling the Buell still has it? If so, let me know. Sam is ready to pull the trigger and join the family. See you on Sunday. |

Jessie Cone with Lady BVR has a small ladies ride planned for today (Sunday, October 8th). They are riding up to Idaho City meeting at the Eagle Rd. Chevron (near the freeway) at 1PM. I think that only four of the ladies have responded so Dan Cone (Hyabusa) and I will support our wives and go with them. The more the merrier and BAB is always welcome to ride with BVR. |

It was a nice change of pace, coming down rocky canyon the bike becomes a handful especially in the ruts. Hey Tim, we saw you come into Idaho City sorry we didn't get a chance to talk. How was your ride? Looks like we lucked out again on the weather! |

Good to hear Andy, get that ECM/TPS done asap to get your fuel/air mix right. To anyone interested I used a 1" hole saw, hacksaw blade, then file to duplicate the 07 air intake then black duct tape to cover the stock holes. Less than 1 hour. |

Hi Andy! Congrats and welcome! Yeah, you'll be happy with the overall power and gained smoothness starting out in first gear or riding slow in 1st. I drilled out my airbox with lots of 1 1/4" holes on the left side, installed a K&N airfilter and used -20 to 200 degree tin duct tape over the stock right side airholes. Also, remember to remove the exhaust aperture control servo, pull the cable to open her up all the way. Bend the cable over then use a few zip ties to hold it in place. I put the one servo mount screw that is closest to the unused servo wiring harness control cable and aperture cable back in. Then I zip tied them together and looped another zip tie through that around the screw I reinstalled...all this keeps the cables in place without vibrating against the airbox cover. It's the neatest way to do it that I can think of. I used to have it taped up with Alabama chrome and it just looked wrong. Do all this before taking it in for the TPS. Let them install the ECM (because you won't be able to drive it to the shop). When you drive it down there your check engine light will stay on because the stock ECM is sayin, "Where the is the servo?" Those stock ECM's talk like sailors don't you know! ENJOY! By the way, I am pretty busy this weekend so don't know if I can make a special BAB ride...sorry. BVR is having their season Finally Fun-Run to Owyhee Lake State Park Saturday. Since I don't see any specific plans to ride Saturday you guys should hook up with BVR. The road to the park is MEGA twistie so lots of fun in store for Buellers too. Here's the announcement from the BVR Forum: So here we are at the close of another fantastic riding season...... Let's go out with a huge roar as we ride off in to the farm land one last "offical" time! Make a plan to be at the Meridian Shell at 10:45 Saturday morning the 21st and we will hit the road in all of our glory at 11:15! Bring your lids as we will be rollin down the highways of Oregon for some of our trip. We started the season at this very location with some 40+ bikes let's go out in grander fashion. Remember last one in may be carrying one of Danny's little party favors!! What you got in store for us Danny? _________________ Peace Robo |

I won't be able to make it on the BVR ride either. I've can't miss the Boise State game. Jason, thanks. Sam already talked to her, and it looks like he will pick up the bike on Monday. So, we'll have another in our little Buell community. If the weather is going to be alright we should all try to get together next weekend, and have season ender. |

I just read the above posts, and hit me. Sam welcome to the club! Mike gave me a little clue but refused to give up the goods over the phone. So Rachel will still be dragging her bike, that is if a slow Bueller dosn't get in front of her like last time. As usual she was pissed. Sam it's nice to see you escaladed from the knuckle draggers to the knee draggers. If you don't mind, please bring one of your Judo books so I can brush up on the basics, I am ready to get back to doing some randori. See you all on Sunday! |

I will be there! Tim, Jason, Andy, Neil where are you?, I love the sound of multi Buell's. Also FYI last weekend I rode up to Bogus, the road smoothes out at the forest service sign and only a few patches of sand. Then went out Cartright rd to Dry Creek to Seamans Gulch to Hill rd. all paved. Nice little ride just north of town. Update on changing my intake to the left side, may just be in my head but sure seems smoother without those annoying hickups or farts! |
