Bambi, Flying would be fun. "RANT" I really hate govt. progams and ATL traffic. I left my house at 6:15 this morning to drive to Camp Creek Pkwy on the west side, Class starts at 8:00am sharp. Get stuck in a stopped Freeway for 30min. Get to the classroom door at 8:03 and the door is locked. Keep in mind I had called and left messages to 3 phone numbers and got nothing. When I finally get someone all I get is "sorry you have to rescedule" What a waste, so I call work and tell them I am pissed and am taking the day off. They call back 20 min. later and say that the other tech and the manager are not gettin along and I need to come in cuz it sounds like he is going to quit!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I just want to put my bike back together today but now I have to go sit at work with my thumb up my butt for the rest of the damn day!!! I love going to work for 8 hours only to get paid for 3 or 4 cuz we are so slow! My last paycheck was for 14 hours!! Pulling out my hair and trying to calm down. Thanks for the vent. |

ATL Traffic... I feel your pain! But, to get from L'ville to Camp Creek in less than two hours has to be some kind of speed record! Hate to hear all the mess going on, so, vent away! Let me know if there's any way I can help with your bike, goodness knows you've helped me out more than a time or two. |

New12r, Isn't it illegal for an employer to pay you less hours that what you actually work? or am I missing something? For what it is worth, I would have been pissed too. |

Ratyson, I get paid "flat rate". That means an oil change pays .4 hours, If I only do one I only get paid .4 hours for the day. Also if it takes me 3 hours to do it I still only get paid .4. If I do it in .1 hours I make money. I average 50 hours a week for working about 30-35 hours so I usually win, but when you dont it can SUCK. |

You guys are sick! Well i got the new lifters in, the pushrods, pistons, cylinders, heads, oil line for the timing cover, and rear engine mount installed. When attempting to install the rocker boxes getting 18ft/lbs of torque was proving difficult, then SNAP the bolt breaks in half!!!!!!! So I pull the other bolts and find I can get vise grips on it, turned out like buttah'! Now all I need is some new bolts and I will be good to go a little further. What a freakin' day. |

Hang in there Chahlie. Some days you are the windshield, and some days you are the bug. Which reminds me of a joke. What's the last thing that goes through a bugs mind when he hits your windshield? His A$$hole. Y'all have a good night and I'll keep the internet safe for ya. |

Charlie, I do that drive from Woodstock to the airport EVERY day! Momma wonders why I'm satan for the first 15 mins when I walk in the door... Rush hour is from 6:30-10am and 3-7:30pm at 8pm they start road construction and cut down the lanes from 6 to 4. Nice for confusing the happy hour drunks. |

I used to commute like that. I think it aged me 2wice as fast. Now I drive 10 miles on back roads to my own business. The commute is not bad except for school busses. |

Sanchez, those are some of the funkiest drivers I have ever seen. Are there names for those (the regular with a bite taken out of it, and the offset phillips)? |

> Are there names for those They call them "security bits." They fit screw heads that have pegs in the middle or other odd shapes to prevent normal bits from working. Screws like that make it a little more difficult to steal things. You'll find them on hood ornaments, public bathroom fixtures, license plate holders, and Medved's bike. |

The tattoo shop is 5 mins. from Delta. Not a good idea stopping for friday night beers before I head home either. Especially 10.0 high gravity beers at the corner tavern drunken in bunches... |

I like beer............ and bewbies. Before we moved out here to huntsvegas, we lived in Lawrenceville, over behind Pleasant Hill road/85 area. I worked and went to school in Marietta... that drive sucked. Although I think the woodstock to airport would be worse. I remember the gas main break at spagetti junction... it took me 5 hours to get from spagetti J, to pleasant hill road. I left school that day at 6pm.. got home at 11:45pm. I could have been most of the way to Jacksonville, FL by then. Here is H'ville.. we really don't have much traffic at all. Takes me about 20 minutes to get to work (12 miles). But rush hour only really lasts about an hour, if that. You gotta love a city with less then 400,000 people!
