Dora, you are welcome to stop by Saturday then since you aren't moving into storage. A few of us will be putzing around fixin' stuff, cleanin' stuff .. and just hangin' out .. between 10am and noon is about starting time ... then you could bring the manual with, although he got hold of a pdf of a firebolt manual - should be pretty similar as far as the belt goes, but what do I know - I ride a tuber ! Bring the Duc, we can clean it up. |

Carparts009, I was going to offer my 2000 S3 service manual, but it sounds like Dora stepped up before I had the chance. |

Thanks Dora but right after I posted I found a pdf version of the manual. Its for a firebolt but it has what I need in it for this weekend. Thanks to kinger too. I heard you met one of my buddies at blackhawk, the kid that bought the icon helmet from you. I thought that was a little crazy. Well see you all on Saturday! Matt |

what a GORGEOUS day. got yanked out of bed by a phone call from 2 chicago friends who were riding out by madison. met them in jefferson, WI, rode to elkhorn, WI for lunch, then to lake geneva, and down into IL, south and east til we hit glenview IL where they continued toward chicago and i turned around and got on US45 north in IL (started getting dark and colder), so i hightailed it to 94 and hauled a** home. 250 mile day with most of it in the mid-70 degree temps - in october! beautiful. and my FIRST ride on my street bob this year D |

Dora, We possibly passed you somewhere out there. Steve, my dad, and myself went for a great ride from Genesee Depot, to Elkhorn, to Lake Geneva and then back to my dad's in the Depot. We only rode about 90 miles, but it was still a great time. My Dad always loves taking his third son(Steve) out on rides. It definitely was a beautiful day. We stopped for 15 minutes in William's Bay and enjoyed the lake view. I will say one thing though, I don't think I want to go through Lake Geneva on a Sunday again. That was crazy We did see 1 M2, 1 S3, 1 Uly and a harley with a M2 flyscreen on our travels though. Great to here you had a good ride! Toni |

Howdy, Matt! We missed you tonight! There will be a ride this Sunday. Meet at Hal’s at about 1130 AM, with a departure of about 1200 Noon. Toni is working out the ride plan. It seems that Holy Hill is a certainty. It is also possible that some of the Kettle Moraine Southern Unit might be in the plans. Stay Safe! |

FYI - I updated my Holy Hill ride map (on the Brew City website) to include arrows indicating the recommended direction of travel. This should allow Steve to run it through his mapping software, and generate a road listing. Have fun, everyone! Ride safe! There should be plenty of deer to get your attention. David I will be busy during the best riding time on Sunday, so I won't be on the ride. |

Hi, Mike! The Mineshaft was very good, thank you! While our time together was brief, it was quality (Buell) time! Perhaps you can be enticed to come to our next meeting on the second Thursday of November. The date will be 9 November 2006. It will be held at Hal’s and begins at about 6:45 PM. If you will not arrive until after 7 PM, the doors at Hal’s will be locked. A cell phone call to Steve will get you inside to the meeting after 7PM. Please consider coming. It will not cost you anything, and it is a good time! Best Regards! |

I will try and get to the meeting, I sometimes work late. I'm pretty sure I can work it out. Thanks for the invite! I'm glad Mineshaft didn't let you down! Thanks again! Mike |

Today was an awesome time. Well have to do that route again in the spring when the roads are clear and less people are around (not a sunday :-) ) Karl I didnt get a chance to thank you for the neck protector before you took off so thank you and thank you again for lunch. Brian what I was trying to tell you at the park was that I was going to start watching the weather and hopefully we can setup a day to wash my bike before putting it away for the winter. Matt |
