Well the U.S.S. M2 Cyclone fired her starboard cannon twice again today. I think it is getting louder. I took the gas cap off and the K&N Filter off but still the bike will not start. I shook up the tank to see if water had settled in it, but none noticed. I pulled the spark plug wires off at both the plug and the distributor. I also check all the fuses. No luck, what should I check next. Webe said the service manual, I am doing that, but still scratching my head on what is wrong with the girl friend. |

Webe - I'm dying to see pictures of your bike. Tell the Blast Girl that it is now "sunset orange," but that just means "red." The only time you can tell the difference is if it's sitting next to a red bike. |

RAM -- Tell me you tried one of those dogs with everything on it Awesome,,,,I need to go get one. Jim -- The girl's home and I get a pic you? Carlos -- I missed your issues with the M2. It was running fine, you washed it, and now it won't fire,,,,is that it in a nutshell? I suspect it's water related Back to the basics; where will water kill? When you pulled the plug(s) did you turn it over to see if it was firing? I suspect that if you did the plugs aren't firing. Did you spend any unusual amount of time washing (as in flooding) the right rear fender area? G2 |

G2 - that's it in a nutshell. As for unusual time washing/soaking, the children had the hose, does that tell you anything? He pulled the spark plug wire and reconnected, still no go. I kept telling him to pull the spark plug and check it. Then I had to leave and left him with all the children and dinner! He'll have to look again tomorrow night as we have 100% chance of rain today. I put your decals in the mail today! Time to order more. |

You were right, BigDaddy -- that was a seriously good hot dog at O'Hare! I had it loaded with everything but onions. Ya gotta love a messy hot dog. Thanks for the tip. |

Webe - I've never seen a Blast that disassembled. As for resizing, I've never used xat, I just know a lot of people do. I don't run Windows, so that makes it hard to give relivant advice. |

Webe, xat is the BOMB! It's what I use. And most of my stuff turns out pretty durn good if I do say so myself. First shirnk the picture to 480 X 640 (or 640 X 480 if your pictures are so inclined). Then shrink the picture to < 50KB for posting on badweb. Save it someplace you remember and call it up when badweb prompts you for the file and you'll be good to go. As long as your original images are not too large (mega-megapixels), you should be good to go with what I've laid out above. Sorry I was busy tonight and this is the first time I had a chance to check in for a couple of days, 1313 |

I dropped by HD-Greensboro this afternoon to pick up a shirt I bought from their Ebay store. I was looking around and was surprised to see a '07 xb12r cherry bomb/black firebolt. What a beautiful bike. Wow!. It was the only Buell in the store. |

Hey there is a guy that works with Carlos and I that just bought a 01'Blast.He got it off E-bay and has talked to us several times before the purchase. We saw him as he came into work today and you could see his grin clear across the plant. He too got bitten by the Blast bug. That is 4 Buell's within 30 miles and 3 within apx. 12 miles of each other ,two of them Blasts'. He may be a future C3 member or just hang out with us. Just thought I would share the excitement. Webe, things that make you go hummm! That makes four Buell riders at the plant if you count our defacto director. We are now out numbering all the regular riders on other brands. |

M2nc - Have you checked your cam position sensor? My M2 was cutting out really bad and it was getting worse. My cam position sensor was cooked. I just replaced it last night and now it runs great again. I have not gone through and read all of the posts that you sent, you might have already checked that. |

Cyclone - don't think he's checked that yet. Our schedule has been horrible this week and he hasn't been able to pull the bike out since Monday night. Maybe Saturday he try again! Good to see you post again! Seems like work is keeping you busy. |

Mickey has a new exhaust strap now. I'll take it out tomorrow morning and ensure that it still runs right. I found a new road. Bicycle 1 into Sanford. |

Cyclone - I have not had a chance to check anything yet. Tomorrow I hope to be able to tear it down and find out at least what is causing the problem. I will check the cam sensor too. thanks, |

Kristi - Yes I still have been working a lot of hours, things will slow down in Nov. for me. Carlos, here is a picture of what mine looked like.
I am glad now that I could not go with you guys to Boone, I would have been broke down on the side of the road. "Things happen for a reason." |

I put gas in the bike this morning at the Kangaroo off the 1010 exit. I decided to check the oil while I was there. I take the cap off and the stick is dry. I look in the hole and I see the metal bottom of the tank. This is the Blast, so it isn't that unusual for this to happen. Still, I'm not going to ride away like this. So now my bike has a nice mix of Mobil 1 15w50 and Kangaroo 10w40 in the crankcase. I wonder if Blake will ban me for putting Kangaroo oil in the bike? |
