I'd like to let set the record straight on my earlier post.

I posted 'I believe SMHD "Said" they replaced stater and Reg''''''

I meant that I didn't know what exact parts like stater or reg' or even both.....had been replaced. I didn't have paper work on the warranty work that was done.

I didn't mean shady work had been done.

The service dept' has come a long way and has much better service. As far as Brain and Tom E. goes I always ask for them to turn wrenches on my bike because they've always done a great job and I trust them working on my bike.

THANKS BRAIN and TOM E.

With all that said I dropped off the beast this morning at SMHD before they opened. Alex and I got together and talked about the bikes issues.

Even thou service was booked and backed up with work orders Alex slid my bike in and the Buell tech jumped on it so I could get my ride back.

Alex confirmed "Stater and Reg' had been replace back in Feb' and today they found out the regulator is defective.


Alex called me around lunch and said to pick it up..... Hows that for speedy service?

I picked up my bike and Alex showed me the print out of the charging system and it was now good.

Sometimes as they say "SHE-OT HAPPENS"

I made it to Webb Ginn house road and Hwy 124 the engine light came and within 20-30 seconds she died and was again on the side of the road.

Here's the good news.....

I called Alex and they sent the SMHD truck out and showed up in about 15 minutes.

The guy working for me was able to pick me up and have me home "on time" for dinner.

Thanks Alex and SMHD for the speedy service and keep me posted....


With all that said please "Don't let me down and get it fixxed" since the bike is down again.

You guys should rent the fur bus for the bachelor party. That thing rocks!
We rented it for a party a long time ago and had a complete blast.
Makes for a great night out.

I have a question for the gang, related to this weekend's upcoming festivities...I know this is going to sound stupid and I'm sure the ladies will all giggle, but what is the expected attire for the ceremonial neutering of the bachelor on Sunday? Will this be a traditional ceremony with flowers and suits and whatnot or more of a casual "khaki's and a shirt with few to no stains"? I know Medved asked once, but I never saw a response. I ask because I never actually got to see the invitation in person and won't get a chance to before Sunday.

Kdan, I'm sure your bikes being worked on. Mine was slid in because it was a warranty 'come-back' issue from previous work. I've been stranded twice in two days.

At my current state of health I am calling off my party, My fever has broke but the stomach cramps, body aches, weakness and watery poo are just too much. I am going to the Doc in a little while so I can be good for sunday. If my condition changes drastically in the next few hours I will post and let everyone know.

Go figure I have not been sick in 2 years, I have missed 3 days of work cuz of this shit and I am about at my wits end lying in bed waiting to feel better.

That's normally caused from excessive consumption of Everclear
You ought to know by now that I'm far from normal.
This was caused by an accident on a spray rig that involved some pretty heavy duty chemicals.

Thanks yall, I just got back from the Doc, I have a bacteria in my intestines. He gave me some heavy duty antibiotics so I should be good for sunday!
