Hello All, Yes, I still alive. I hope all's well with everyone. School and all my other chores have taken their toll on me this Fall. Mid-terms are almost done, one more exam. I'm planning on riding north tomorrow morning. Shred, Duc_htr, anyone else, lets ride... My thoughts and prayers go out to Greg at SMHD/BUELL. Also to all the out of service BUELLS. Hoping for a speedy recovery and back up and running. I hope to see the 3%er men next Friday the 13th and few ladies ... Have fun and ride safe. |

Hey Fran! Good to see you still with us. Well all, it looks like yet another drama-free day in the Buell barn! After staying up last night with New12r, and LigntningDave, I saw just how to pull an XB in two. This afternoon we decided to see just how challenging changing out a stator could be. Not too bad, once you get past the smelly smell of something that smells smelly. (I thought Brave_angle was going to blow chunks) The Buell Barn will never smell the same again. Thanks everyone that helped out. Travis Charlie Bobby Phil Alison Without y'all, I'd be sitting out on the back porch day-dreaming about riding. Thanks! Kdan, I just had a silent moment for you and your bike. Heal well, and fast, Greg. |

I RODE TEMPLE JOHNSON!! Yay, me! Granted it wasn't as fast as the other guys, but I don't care. I did it! Besides, running with me gives you a good 5 minute rest at each stop sign to give me a chance to catch up! Glitch, glad I could help! |

Glitch.....you back on the road? Went for a small ride this evening and the roads are slick....but always fun. Me too. Felt good to be out on the road again. Cool night air felt extra nice. Luke Edwards was kind of wet, so you know it was a nice easy evening ride. |

Got a cool e-mail from a racer that I met and he ask me to help his team at Daytona on the oct.19-21 for the (Moto-ST) races. Said if I'd help in the pits he'd pay 1/2 of the price for me to attend "Team Hammer" race school or I could sign up for the 'Pro pactice' for licensed races only. My sons 1st birthday is the 18th. Shoot me in the head, it's always something. Maybe I can convince my wife it would be a cool birthday gift for Nic' (Message edited by shred on October 09, 2006) |

> http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=JvJcC6Jjv9I Hey, that was uploaded by the guy who built the Nugget. > What's your secret to so much luck that you win a goody back EVERY time @ roller derby???? Ritual sacrifice. I've been a little disappointed with the last two hauls though. Sunday's bag was mostly a bunch of crappy CDs, some crappy stickers, and another expired coupon for a free iTunes download. The last guy won the bag with the 13 Roses gift cert. |

The blue beast left me on the side of the road. AGAIN......In front of the Gwinnett county courthouse It had a hard time cranking up. Then wouldn't crank at all. Push started it, that was fun..... Charged the batt' overnight. Took it for a ride and stopped a few times. Dead again.. Bought new batt early this year right before the demos' in march and I believe SMHD "said" they replaced stater and voltage-reg' I'll keep you posted. |

Shred, I've got an 04 9r and it seems bike bike is starting to have some possible starting issues.... i'd say about 50% of the time now when i hit the ignition its starts this clicking, loud and if i continue to hold it down it finally fires and the bike seems to go through a reset, where the clock zeroes out and the needles on the speedo and tach go all the way up and bike like when you cut the bike on, and the check engine light comes on, then shuts off after a few seconds...... wanted to see if these were the same problems you had and what action you maybe able to recommend before too much damage is done.... I already got a battery tender and hook it up at night when i get home..... thought that might cure it, but hasn't..... any help is appreciated from any of ya'll thanks. |

Badhabit.....EXACTLY what mine did when I had a bad Race ECM. Didn't you recently install a race ECM? The Bad ECM also fried my Temp sensor and O2 sensor. Sanchez....Yes.....let me get back to you on that. My wonderful wife offered to take me so I could drink and not drive. |
