Guess what I just did?!?!?! First, I made it from the house to Zaxby's, then I RODE TO THE DEALER!!! Yay, me! We took the nice and straight 78 route, but I still did it! I did stall twice coming back, but recovered pretty quickly. This is so much fun!

Anyone up for a evening ride on thursday. S_B and I rode and had a great time the other night.

Just walked in the door from work. Went to Albertville, AL. for a small job. Was out the door at 6:30am, got home at 9:30pm
and I'm whooped.

Yeah, I saw that. I'm less and less impressed with that show. They have some good features, but they also show some really irresponsible riding. On their Tail of the Dragon episode, they show Jason crossing the double yellow a couple of times, and on the ATL show, you see a crew of metric retards running from the police. One of the riders actually HIT the police car! I hope darwinism prevails and the cops were watching that episode.

New12r!

Last weekend New12r (Big Thanks Charlie) and I re-built the forks on my bike with little to no drama.
Last night he helped me install a new front rotor (Thank You Stealth!) and brakes.
As I ride home I bed the pads, and enjoy the nice cool ride.
As I pull in the garage I smell the smelly smell of something smelly.
Primary oil. : (
I think my stator is going out, or has already.
I've noticed a couple of hard starts.
And yes this stator has seen Mobil1, but not exclusively.
47,000 miles.
I sure hope I can find one I can afford, and this repair is as drama-less as the forks and brakes.
But, after the brakes, and forks, the Buell Account may be dry.

Glitch, when I smelled that smell, it was indeed my stator making the smell, but it took the regulator & battery with it. But I was noticing that smell for a couple of weeks. 23,000 miles.
