ok, the morning commute has turned my already fried brain into that of a reptile... i drive cab for four years without becoming an arsehole on the road... after one month of commuting to chicago and milwaukee from madison and i am a stark raving lunatic... today some nerd would not let me get over into the turn lane to get off of I-94 and i squeaked in within 6 inches of his bumper and the car in front of him going 70+ miles an hour... it isn't worth getting hurt over ya'know??? so i am looking at a place tomorrow in River West... does anyone else know of a place for rent with a GARAGE attached to it... maybe 1 bedroom for 650 or less? i see online CJ's place is renting. if you guys have any ideas e-mail me at bluebuell1967@hotmail.com 530 time to hit the road again, aaaarrrgggh Char |

Kinger, I would re-use 'em. But I'm a cheap bastard! Dora, the ride went fabulous! Steve Labotski had to empty his short after hitting a pretty good patch of gravel at close to full throttle. I sure can keep up to Dave K, and Steve L. better on the XB vs my S3. Toni voluntarily offered to skip the ride, so I got to ride the CityX on the ride. Next time I do that though, I'm adjusting the suspension for my weight. Had a bit of a head shake problem coming out of the corners. Even with me riding, ya know... The president of the "slow guy club" Char, it was great to see you too. Shoot me an email at mackay dot steve at gmail dot com, and I'll add ya to the Brew City mailing list. |

I stopped short of removing the lower rocker box and tightened everything up. Hopefully tomorrow I will get a chance to rinse off the oil and see if it still leaks. I am getting pretty cheap myself! |

Kinger -- I've done the same with those gaskets, and they're still oil tight -- cheap is good, I'm thinkin -- more dough for gas! |

Sorry Rocco... It's been sold for about 2 months now. Put it out in front of my Father-in-Law's house on HWy83, and put it on Ebay. Ended up getting $2100 for it IIRC. Which pretty much broke even on the purchase, and Toni go two seasons out of it. |

What's up everybody ? Thought I'd take a sec to formally introduce myself to the locals ... I'm in Milwaukee and have no local Bueller's to associate with .. A few friends ride, but not nearly as often as I do, or when I do .. and they are on a variety of bikes , from full dressers, to old shovels, to jap cruisers (of which I also own one). My favorite ride is my 99 M2. Just need to find people in the area that like to ride, wrench, whatever with their bikes .. I've been posting for a month or two, nice forum this is. Brian |

Always lookin' for work ! Although I no longer have a shop, I closed it just before my daughter was born last year to be for the most part an 'at-home dad' - I have a 3 car garage here so I do most of my work out of my garage, the rest is mobile. E-mail me through my website with contact info and we'll talk about what you need and what not. Thanks Do you know where Romine's is? (the pool hall near 27th & college) I live right around the corner from there. Used to live on Lafayette & Farwell before we bought our house 5 years ago. |

Welcome Brian!!! We actually have a ride planned for Sunday(woops! I forgot about it) riding around Holy Hill. But unfortunately, the wife and I wont make this ride(1st one we're missing in almost 3 years ). My S3T is broke, and waiting on a seal install tool |

I actually have cars to work on this weekend, only riding will be night riding tomorrow, just came in from riding for a couple hours ... Holy Hill, nice roads to ride out there. Please keep me in the loop when it comes to the rides, always looking to get out and about. Praying WI gets good weather next weekend, plan on riding out to Door County to camp from Thursday to Sunday. If it's nice weather, I will have a friend riding the Blast I bought for my wife (she'll be driving the car with our 1 yr old) .. but if it's crappy out, I'll either be caging it as well, or riding solo on the M2. Too many fair weather bikers .. haha |

Hey Buellers- If you're planning on attending the "Enchanted Twisties" factory BRAG rally in New Mexico this September, please go to www.santafeharley.com and follow the links to register. The cut-off to register and receive a t-shirt is August 28. You can register after that, but t-shirts will only be on a first-come, first serve basis. Hope to see you there. Murrae |

Howdy, Steve! I understand that the August Brew City meeting, scheduled for 10 August, will not be at Hal's. Instead, it will be at Steve Labutski's House. If new members are welcome to attend, directions are needed! |

Yes, is was a good night .. Was nice to put faces to names and voices. Carl - thanks for letting take the Uly for a spin - definitely a different breed of bike ! Looking forward to the next one - hopefully it will be a bigger turnout Steve - I'll get busy mapping out some rides ... like I said- our 'car' routes were always filled with twisties, they should suffice ! Thanks again Brian |
