Thanks for the birthday wishes and Happy Late B-Day to you too, Chad! I'll get some pictures up just as soon as I get some time (done riding). We put about 70 miles on it this evening while tempting the clouds. Can't wait to get the first 500 on it so I can just "ride" it. The first 50 were painful. ...keepin' it within the break-in specs and all.

I'm not sure what we'll bring, but we're planning on meeting up with you all again on the 12th. for the next ride. We're looking forward to it, and hope to see you all there!

Now I just need to come up with an idea for the plate... Hmmm....

Reminder folks, the next club meeting will be August 11th. Ron and Jeff won't be there so plan on a brief meeting followed by a ride.

We need to start a campaign to get the Wicked Twisty tour here next year. I encourage everyone to try to think of ways to promote Buell of Bloomington toward that end.

Summer is drawing to a close, lets have a big turnout!

Just a quick note to all. We just made it back home. We had a great time with everyone today and we're looking forward to the next meeting!

Eddie & Pete - Heather swung into the Speedway for fuel, right as we got into Nashville. Wade & I ducked in just around the corner with her... Hope you guys didn't wait too long for us where ever you were when you saw we weren't there. Don't know where we missed each other, but it was a great ride anyway! We headed on back to the dealership after we looked around a bit and then we decided to have super at Mark Pi's China Gate. Good stuff! Wade joined us and we had an enjoyable meal with good company.

Maybe next time we can all go out for a bite to eat after the ride is over...

Sounds good to me...I live 85 miles south of Bloomington, near Memphis, Indiana.. I would be interested in all that stuff..I did West Va about a month ago and it is as good or better that NC/Deals Gap...for various reasons..Going to Arkansas late this week to check out their twisties. Anyone is welcome to go, just one other guy is going with me.........A good ride will be Sunday Sept 3 to Springfield, Illinois to the AMA Natl. Flat Track Mile...Race is about 2:00 over about 5:30..I am going with a group from the Louisville area...will stay in Matoon, Illinois. and come back Monday morning...,,,AL Luntzel...812-246-4520

Hey that is the 9th right???

I am out of commission for a day or two. Went away for a week and blindly locked the steering before I left. Well I put it in park and came back to a VERY dead battery.
