Glenn, I'd say somewhere around 11:00-11:15. I can always call you on your cell once I'm there,if you're only eight miles away. I don't have your number. Do double check the exit to make sure. Kevin's got a race xb with a chain drive you can check out. Jim, I'll give you a call this evening. |

Just as a note, there is a Bike event/show in Raleigh over Labor day weekend, it is sponsored by the local Brit bike club (Tonup NC) and the local vespa club (the incriminators). It involves various rides and a show and such http://www.tonup-nc.com/raleighrumble.html |

I had to go for a ride today. It had just been too long since I'd done it. So I left work and called Mike who told me it was raining down his way. So I hopped on the Uly and headed down his way anyhow. I hit the rain about 15 miles south or Raleigh. The drops actually hurt and I was soaked. It only lasted a few minutes fortunately. I turned off US 1 onto 24/27 which I took through Carthage and then 22 up to Ramseur. I know someone in Ramseur so I called the Girl to find his house. He turned out to be in Minnesota, bit I talked to his parents for a little while. I came back into Raleigh on 64, which takes me right by Mark & Laura's house. I stopped to talk and we ended up going to a BBQ place right down the street from them. It was awsome. I'll be going back. Got home with my sanity restored and 140 miles on the odometer. |

How could I possibly be hungry? |

If you are hungry, think fish camp! It threw down just as I was going to go home from work this afternoon. So I stayed and got a few more things done and check the radar. I finally had a break in Noah's rain, so I put on my true Harley rain gear (it leaks) and rode home. Even in the rain, I'd rather be riding. |

Hmmm...WebesBG musta saw my 'workout' on Wednesday night...Hey it was a going away party for a colleague returning to Germany - normally I don't get that tore up during the week.
All I can offer for the following couple of pics is that when you hand the camera to an inebriated individual, expect some crazy shit (especially if that inebriated individual is me...):
When questioned about the method to my madness for taking said above pictures all I could do was -
So who's ready for a, or should I say some, beer? And where's the camera? 1313 |

Rode with Twig up to KDfab today to get his DrummerSS, race ECM, TPS reset,etc......done. Kevin is one hell of a guy. We had been there all of MAYBE 45 seconds and he handed me the keys to his 12S to ride around. It had all the Drummer accessories, and man did it sound sweet! Pulled back into the garage and they were steady working on Mike's bike, and XB9ser was checking out all the cool things to look at. Long story short, great time, changed my mind about a few things, and Mike LOVES the new bike!!! I'll post some picture's after Twig or Glenn chime in. Kevin said that he might be able to join us in October! |

U4euh - if Kevin plans to stay at the cabin, let me know. I think currently we're at 11 for the cabin. The contract says 12, but I think we can pull off 13 without any problems. Glad you guys had a fun and safe day. |

All I can say is it's one awesome pipe. The sound is incredible, although not too loud. Much smoother power delivery. Even more fun to ride now. Glad you guys could make it. I really enjoyed hanging out at his shop. Gonna take it for a country cruise this morning and have some real fun! Later.. |

I went to Cracker Barrel on friday and played with the little triangle game with the golf tees. I never can figure that thing out. But it made me mad so I spend the rest of the trip trying to figure out if I could write a computer program to do it. Results in the post above :-) |

JimN - next time we're together at Cracker Barrel, I'll show you how to win that game! Drives Carlee crazy that I can do it and she can't yet. Junior01 - did you place an ad in the Classifieds here? I'd also look at the Bargain Trader for the Franklin County area. Do you have someone local that can show the bike? Best of luck. |

Got to vist with and ride with Nance today. Thanks for coming by today. It's always a pleasure to see you. We met up with U4euh and hit the twisties. I guess it's been a little too long since U4 and I rode together cuz we tore it up! Damn that felt good. After Nance headed home we kept riding till we had exhausted each other. Got some Ice cream and laughed like kids about the day's ride. Thanks Jim and Jim! |
