I'm trying to figure out vacations for the rest of the year, also. We go up north at that time for timeshare week, so i'm hoping to tail or lead it by a day or two in the twisties. I'll build an open poll on my web pages, and get a link going after that. |

Well i have to say... i rode my bike today and it ran great.... Maybe the cooler temps or the fact it has been awhile, it is hard for me not too WHEELY taking off from all the red lights . it was pulling like a MOTHER ..... it's shame i did not have anywhere else to ride to . I am still thinking about a late night ride .. i am also headed to PA with the bike in tow the 21st-3rd and looking for places to go check out ... thinking of riding from PA to Mich." home state " it's been 10+ years .. any ideas on places. |

Brian, Moroso would be nice. Depending if the bike has to be set up for race, then the mods to switch from street do take quite a bit of time and some costs. Let me know if you know how open the "track day" is. Many don't require a full on race setup. If they don't, I'd love to get the 9R on the track for the day. Do you know if anyone there rents leathers? Clif |

it sounded like u could ride there and take off mirrors- tape up lights and as long as u had the right gear on and pass the class road corse and pay some fees your riden , it say ever-one needed to take a class road corse to be certified . gas $5 a gallon if needed and tire replacement available ,they even rented leathers.. bring the check book no credit cards ? i would like to show up and check it out.. it's about 1 1/2 ride from FT and if we could ride that would be cool . although i think i would need to plan for a longer day / food and what not.. . |

At least the ad says what I was trying to say CCS Tech = Championship Cup Series Tech inspection prior to accessing the track. It's really "loose" if you're registered to the school, at least it was at Homestead. And I see on their "school" site, it says basically what you said, just tape and mirrors. I trailered mine in and all I forgot for the school was the kickstand. And it was excellent to have it on the track. I have my certification paperwork, so these days look good. I'd love it if we can arrange something. I put a call in to see about availability. I can tell you, without school "certs", you'll need to sign up for the school, but it was so worthwhile... Boss gets back the 18th, then we'll set a date for vacation, and set Dragon Run around that... |

OK, not trying to upset anyone, so if this is bad, just tell me, I will delete, but I added the poll on my website, let me know if you want to use it or if I need to modify it. http://keylargolocals.com/ follow the link to the polls. |
