I propose leaving Friday evening or Sat. morning. I'll be staying until Thursday when my conference (Tue, Wed, Thur) concludes. This could be fun. You in? Accomodations? Southern good to here it, maybe we can convince a few more to go. Jim N & Mike, you guys have good timing. I just happen to get my vacation back on August the 12th. Hmmm...let's see...Not to sound like the local HOG group (Ride to Eat and Eat to Ride), but there ain't no dang convincing needed on my part. I wanna go to the Holland Fish Camp!!! Saturday I need to pick up my freshly bored (to .020" over) cylinders about 13 (kinda funny how that number always turns up, isn't it???) miles outside of Goldsboro though... Fish Camp - YUM! Oldog, Carlos put it best when he said: We have had a great time at Daytona roughing it or chilling at the condo on the beach However when doing 600 mile nearly back to back days having accomodations that you don't need to pack up afterwards is usually a good thing. I'm thinking I'll probably ride up there on Saturday morning. But I'm an early bird, so I'll be leaving here about sun up. I'd enjoy staying with my mom one night. I should probably clear that with her. Want to camp the other night? There's "too tired" up by Shady Valley if we end up that far north. There is also that place you found with the BMW guy the last time you went. Carlos - Come join us. I was in the house, being a good girl, working on homework when I heard a beautiful sound.... sounded a little bit like a thumper... YEA!!! the blast is running again and actually looks like a motorcycle instead of a big paperweight. M2nc... didn't forget...LOL didn't know...(had to ask what it was too) gonna let him ride it around a couple of days just to make sure he remembered to put everything back i'm just happy that it looks like a motorcycle again... but you and i know when classes are over.. and i hope he gets the kinks out soon...might be patient a day or so after that...but then... Very glad you realized where you were before you hit the sand...that was the first time i'd been down that road (although it did look familiar) at least on a bike.. Jim was nice enough to humor me - i really wanted to get a new duke shirt (havent been back here in 5 years!), and we were running a bit short on time, so we just ate at the juice/bagel/muffin/coffee place at the student center after i bought some stuff at the book store before i had to go pick up my co-worker at the airport. i'll be back in town next april for 5 days or so to attend my college reunion. so hopefully i can get with you guys with some more notice! Glad to see that you're up to traveling. Those Tylenol and Advil must be doing the trick. Jim Nance is a good guy and he's one of our early birds. Keep us posted on your next trip to NC and we'll definitely plan something, right or wrong! Of course, I may have to wear my UNC shirt........ My daughter is in the Duke Talent Search Progarm for 5th and 6th graders. She was a little upset at first that it wasn't UNC. But like we told her, if Duke calls your name, you answer! We may have to be closet Tarheels - LOL! These instructions are for Firefox. There is a similar thing you can do for IE, but I don't know what it is. On the left side of the page, up above the uses name who made a post, there is a small square icon. Right click on it. You will get the following menu: Select the one that says "Copy Link Location."
