Didn't see any posts started for folks planning on being at Laguna this year so thought I'd go ahead since we're getting kinda close. We got all our passes in the mail, we're good to go, grandstand seats, EBear reservation central confirmed. Just got the tags renewed on the streetbike after having it parked more than a year and a half. Looking forward to seeing familiar faces and meeting some new friends. Sunny and I will be camping on Corkscrew View with the Love Shack mob. Pitting for Scott Jensen in AMA SBK and watching the MotoGP - cheering on Hayden (even if he has to be riding a freaking Honda) |

Jen & I are good to go too, also camping in the Love Shack area. Though need to find out when to drop off our camping gear for Ebear or Jerry to carry up in the LuvShak. Reminder to those who don't have Paddock Passes: laguna-seca.com is offering 2500 Paddock Passes in a drawing. Sign up before June 6 and only enter once. |

From Ebear: -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Info on delivering your camping gear to Ebear for the Loveshack at Laguna Seca....... For those that have done this before...I've Moved..!!I now live in Fullerton. Coming from the north, you take Beach Blvd off of the 5 or 91 freeways and head northeast ,towards La Habra.Same with coming up from South. If your in the Inland Empire take Hacienda Blvd. from the 60 freeway and turn right at the end and then immediately left down Beach Blvd.Just south of Imperial Hwy you'll turn on Rosecrans.if you email me or call I can direct you from there. If I'm not around at the time you'll be coming there is a safe place locally to leave gear.Best to wait till July, and most weeknights and the weekend of the 10-11 I should be home.My cell phone does NOT work at the house, but my new house number is 714-525-1181 where you can leave a message,or leave on my cell phone and when it updates I'll call you back! |

hi guys. wondering if & how a canadian bueller can find some people to hang w/ at the USGP this year. i want to ride down & stay somewhere w/ some people - i'm kinda shy & quiet, but good people. happy to share reasonable expenses - not looking for a freeload - & hoping to ride in to event & ride around after days racing, if this is possible?! i guess i'm trying to get in w/ some good people at a campground or in a shared accommodation?! pls. msg me if anyone is interested in bringing some international flavor to the race! (i'm british born, australian raised, canadian resident w/ usa aspirations .. for the record). thanks in advance, paul. |

Shy and quiet? Just like the rest of us you will see at the races,Von!! Al Lighton and a bunch of other buellers will be hanging out at the Love Shack overlooking the corkscrew. Get ahold of them about tent space if you want to camp at track. I will be helping out Vallejo Buell in the pits with Shawn's XB.Probably stay with them both nights at motel in Sand City. Going to try to make the BARF get together at the Blue Fin on friday night. Liam from A.S.B.N. will be there to regale us with tales now that he is working for a Moto-GP team. |

Yah...now THERE is a shy and quiet guy...FMJ..!!Vonsliek....When you enter the track go across car bridge , and head towards the famous "Corkscrew".....go across the pedestrian bridge , and as you come up other side looking towards the side of the bridge you'll see a huge 5th wheel with a deck sticking out over the bank.Probably a trailer with an "American Sportbike" sign on the side also. That is US! Come introduce yourself!!Anyone can show you around , or ask for Eric or Jim or Jerry and we'll lead you astray!!(or a veranda!)

You guys! My brother lives over near Santa Cruz and now I'm having to listen to his MotoGP plans by email. He has tickets, pit passes, etc., and now he tells me he is going to get to ride a parade lap on Saturday. Jeesh! His lack of sensitivity towards those of us that are not going to be able to go at all is nothing short of disgusting! He rides a BMW oil head 1150 something or other, cut him some slack if he gets in the way. :> Jack |

i am coming down .. have been busily trying to get some other canadian locals to go w/ me, but no avail - other than a little hottie from vancouver who offered to ride pillion - but my xb has a pillion unfriendly subframe (after me & buddy drunkenly cut away pillion support material). stupid i know, but its mostly a track bike now & i didn't want a chick ruining the setup! ;P i am totally looking fwd to hearing these things blatting around the track & hoping i can get a tent space or something to keep costs down .. any tips/hook ups/rides deeply appreciated!! shd be the adventure of a life time .. last time i saw GP was when i was 10 or 11 & it was brands hatch & bazza sheene won, i met him & got his autograph ,.... back then u cld get close & see them setting up bikes & getting on them & having to jump out of the way .. have very vivid, yet sparse recollections of it, but it is all magical! paul. |

Eliminate Long Waits Jun 28, 2006 Copyright 2006, Roadracing World Publishing, Inc. The “Track Crossings” scheduled during the U.S. Grand Prix at Mazda Raceway Laguna Seca are to expedite race fans across the track. Last year, waits to cross the start/finish and Dunlop Tire bridges were up to 45 minutes long. The bridges will remain open this year above the Track Crossings, where Astroturf will be temporarily laid across the track to accommodate foot traffic. |

Hey - Tim and Candice Hurley just said they're going to let their Motel 6 room in Monterey go if nobody wants it. Email Tim and Candice at 2whlnut @ sbcglobal dot net if you're interested. Tell them you heard it from Slaughter. Sunny and I are going to camp out at the hilltop so we don't need it. Something like $130 per night |

I have a unique opportunity, I think, for some Buell owners to gather for a REALLY GREAT time. I have "soft commitments" from 3 very interesting guest speakers, a room that will accommodate 80 on "hold" for dinner and the chance to provide interested Buell fans with some keen technical insight into the Buell race program and do a 20 minute Q&A session. My question: Would there be enough interest to get 80 folks together at 7:00PM on Saturday the 22nd at a location near the track? Another question: If there is, what's the chance of getting some local help to give me a hand putting this together? If the interest is there, I'll pull the trigger and make this thing happen.
