If you lived in PA, rode through here, or want to visit, please post! We can plan out a few rides, hangout, or just get to know each other. Depending on what time of year, I'm either at IUP in Indiana , home outside of Hanover, at the Armory in Lewistown, or drill at Ft Indiantown Gap. Rock out! Brian Cessna |

Sting, I'm just north of Altoona. One of the guys that works for me drills at the Gap. Ever heard of "Thunder in the Valley"? Big bike show in Johnstown, PA that we'll be riding to. Also riding to the Carlisle Bike weekend. The group I ride with has 2 rides planned from Altoona to Gettysburg, I'll have to get the dates. Dan |

Hi guys, I'm from Monroeville (near PGH). Toona, I was out your way in January on the Uly, went to "Horseshoe Bend". Very Cold, there was still ice on the road in the valley! I'll have to go back when I'm not shivering. Let me know the dates for the rides to Gettysburg (what a great town!) I know some guys are planning their own trip out there, they may be interested. I will also be at homecoming. Hope to see you guys sometime. Tim |

Bret, I will be at Reading for the big WWII reenactment the weekend of June 2-4th. I was going to ride our 42 WLA over to the HD shop on 183, is that Classic HD? If anyone is planning a ride to Gettysburg, let me know, I can meet you there. The dates for bike week in Gettysburg are July 6-9. There is a bike parade down through Gettysburg, which usually ends at the Allstar Sports Complex. heres a link http://www.gettysburgbikeweek.com/ Battlefield HD/Buell is also a great place to stop in while in Gettysburg, they are right at intersection of Routes 30 and 15. It is not hard to find at all and they definately welcome Buells. Brian |

I won't be able to "do" Homecoming this year. I will be at a carshow in York, PA that weekend with my business. When I get home (I'm in Knoxville, TN this weekend) I'll check the schedule for the G-burg ride dates. Snub, The Horseshoe Curve is a neat site and some OK roads. There are some better roads that we can get you on to. While here in Knoxville, I went to Smokey Mtn HD and test road a Uly for the free Slingbag. Nice Bike, a little too tall for me (5'9") tippie toes at the stop lights. I also took my truck up and down the Dragon. WHAT A RIDE! I need to get my Buell fixed and bring it back next year. (I'm already gathering parts, just need a 12 header, highsided a few weeks ago) |

What 3 rivers festival are you talking about? The PGH Ragatta? Anywhere away from the "parkways" is a good road.....except for construction areas. |

Hello All, I'll be in York, June 1-3. Anyone up for getting together? I plan on bringing my bike, provided I don't run into anything else that is broken. I'll be there for the hotrod show at the fairgrounds, so I could only make a ride after 5:00, except Thurs, I could ride as early as 1:00 or 2:00. I would possibly like to tour the HD plant on Thurs. |

Myself, XB9er and Dragginknee went to Horsepower HD in Williamsport for the Buell demo truck. It rained off and on, so the roads were not dry enough to test ride. Bummer. They (HPHD) wouldn't give us a slingbag because we didn't (couldn't) ride because of the wet roads. We did score the folding hats (prior promo) and a yellow "Demo Day" Buell T-shirt though. Made the 4 hour round trip kinda worth it. The demo truck will still be there Saturday. The demo truck had a Blast, a Uly, 2 Ss-1 red/red and a blue/amber, 12XBScg, 12XBS, Kick Ash CityX and a pair of Firebolts. I really liked the red on red Ss, too bad it was wet.... Nice seat on them. |

Classic HD/Buell is the dealer near the Reading airport. The BIG WW II weekend (June 2-4) is not to be missed, although I am missing it this year (Homecoming)! Thanx, for the ride list Toona, maybe I can make a couple. What is the 'group' you ride with? Informal or a club? All Buells? PM me if you coming to Blitzburgh! Bret |

Anytime on a bike is GOOD! I ride with an informal group up from our church. Anything from a VTX to Vmax to Honda to HD to Yammys to ? And 2 Buell Lightnings (mine(XB12S) and the guy that works for me (XB9S). My custom paint is "supposed" to be started this week WOOO HOOO! I only dropped off the plastics in March..... I made the mistake of telling the painter/friend of mine that I had other plastics that I could still ride w/o this set. Cool stuff though, www.paintandsigns.com (Message edited by toona on May 22, 2006) |

Hey guys, 3 weeks 'til lift off, I'll be up there around the 20th of June will be staying near Scranton for a few days before continuing on to New Hampshire. Then I'll be going over into the NY adirondacks and back down thru PA. It would be nice to meet a few fellow PA Buellers and carve some curves with you. I'll keep an eye on this thread and post when the date gets closer. Bart |

Sorry from the long break in posting here. Been working long hours at the farm fixing equipment and trying to make ends meet. Toona I will definately look you up when I get back to IUP this fall. I will be going to Reading the weekend of the car show in York. If you get a tour of the York plant, its pretty rad. I worked at both building one, which has the old school overhead chain moving the bikes on the assembly line, and the new Keystone plant. Bret, you aint lying, Reading is a fantastic weekend. I have not missed it yet in 11 years!. I do WW2 reenacting, this year my Dad and I are the event coordinators for my unit. Its going to be some pretty good stuff this year. Bart, that would be bad A$% if we can get together. I have a lot of things going on this summer but am sure I can get up to hang with you. Brian |

Stingaroo, Keep your nose to the grindstone kid, those tractors need to be fixed and that hay has to be baled. I am jealous, I miss hanging out across from the chapel. Have a blast at Reading, I'd love to be there! Tell the boys I said hey. Bartimus, brother, When you roll through PA, I'd love for you to meet my other brother, Brian, aka Stingaroo. You'd have lots of great stories to share, and you'd see in both of us why we are the way we are. Take the trip a bit south, meet up, have a few beers, swap stories. Love to be there then, weddings and work calls... I'll be back in PA sometime this summer with a bike, keep your eyes and ears posted... Prior |

Alex, that's why I'm going thru PA is for a wedding. (poor guy) LOL My 'ol bro up in Wapwallopen is getting hitched the 24th of June. So Stingeroo is in the southern part of the state? we'll have to pass some emails here soon, let me know whereabouts is best to meet him. I was planning on going thru Youngstown and then across the state on the freeway, not to fond of toll roads. Stinger how close to New Castle are ya? I was thinking of stopping there to see the folks since they helped me get back on the road back in 2000. |

Just another thought, I've been watching the DC, MD, VA storm front thread and all they do there. What are you ideas/thoughts about maybe someday going there for a ride? They seem to be based around the Frederick, MD area. BBDwD #25, John 3:16

All's welcome to join our rides, keep checking our thread. I'm supposed to post a schedule of upcoming rides this week. Yesterday we rode out to the Jefferson Hill Climb, getting there was a blast! Good ride indeed. It was fun watching those guys going up that hill - something I don't think I could ever do. If any of you are interested in leading us through your favorite route or location let me know so we can get it going. PA is too close to not visit often, I definitely want to include more rides there. Jake: Get in touch with me, I'll go over what you've missed, I very interested in our members' feedback and ideas. |

Bart, I am waiting for some new tires before doing some real riding, my trip last year to chicago and back on 80-90 wore out a worn set of tires. June 24th my girlfriend is playing at her friends wedding in Chambersburg. Right now I am at home, around Gettysburg area. I am sure on Sunday I can take a rip up to your place and see whats happenin. Feel free to shoot me an email man, it may take a little time for me to respond. Hay season is kickin in full swing, and I have to help my buddy get to combines ready for straw. Rasmonis, You were like 20 minutes down the road from me!!! I have not been to the hill climb in years, but man those guys are crazy. One medic I know Sgt Ryan, he does the hillclimbs. His bike is a mutt put together, but man is it loud. Jake, I have been under the weather after brain surgery, a deployment, and college, now back to the farm for some long days. If you are heading up to Gettysburg area, let me know man!! I live right outside of Hanover. Prior, I will send you my training schedule dood. Brian |
