M2 - I can't imagine that being the pistons fault. |

Took off yesterday for a long needed ride(I know how you feel Carlos). Ended up in Greensboro and called Twig. We rode over to PlumKrazy's summerBash and the 1st thing we see is a black 12R sitting in the crowd. Upon closer inspection found that it had a wicked exhaust setup. D&D canister with what looked like a gold plated TiForce header. Bout that time the owner shows up and cranks her up. OOOOOHHHHHHHHH my Gawd! is all I can say! We talked a bit, gave him my email and the links to BWB specifically C3. Hopefully he'll show up. We had a nice ride into the Northern part of NC, but time was getting late. After a stop at Mike's house I headed home. At my exit was a big shindig the locals call Lawn Mower tractor pulling. OK. You have to see this to believe it. They have all classes just like the pro circuit. Stock, modded, pro stock, and then the 'Open Class'. These boys were running 126cid S&S motors with methanol injected! Talk about loud and fast. they were pulling a miniture sled with 1400lbs that slid up to be dang there over the rear axle's, that's right 'axle's'- as in plural. Danged if I didn't forget my camera this trip. Thanks for the enjoyable day, and the belt Twig, sorry I couldn't stay longer. Have to plan a trip up that way next time. Happy Father's day to all of our crew! |

U4euh - sounds like you had a great day. I know Carlos is really looking forward to next weekend. Poor guy has been on Daddy Duty for the past 3 weekends. I'm going to pack the Ventura Bag, get tags for the M2 and send him on his way. |

I hear ya, I havn't been on duty so to speak, she is old enough to fend for herself. Mine is more like cancelling rideing time do to the fact that at the last moment, I find out that someone is not going to work blah...blah...blah....so we need to spend time together. Oh well, I've been to a few good party's though. Are Carlos and Brankin going to ride together? |

Not sure yet. Brankin was talking about leaving early Friday morning. Carlos will have to work at least until noon and then he can leave. Carlos can meet you at Glenn's or somewhere along the way. I'm sure he'll post something when he gets back from WV this evening. He's a good man and daddy, spending his day shuffling children. He's taking my niece Ali to WV where my step-dad is meeting him with my other niece, Samantha - trade kids and turn around and come back home. Between working 50+ hours a week and keeping up with school, not to mention the children, he's had no "down time" and he's used to getting some regardless of how short it is. |

Got in the Toyota this morning and the battery was dead. So I'm on the Blast today. Speaking of the Blast, I need a new front tire. I might need a new rear too. I ended up skidding down hill to a stop light on Saturday, which was kind of strange. I wasn't on the brakes that hard. I looked at the rear, and it's down to the wear bar. But I usually run them way past the wearbars. I think I'm going to go ahead and replace it since I'm doing the front. Any opinions? I'm going to try the Perilli MT75 tires. They last 2/3s as long as the OEM tires and cost 2/3s as much. But ezblast says they handle better, so it works out well. Of course it only works out well if I don't have to pay the dealership $60/tire to install them. What sort of equipment do I need to jack up a Blast? Someone said they used a tire shop that could mount the rear w/o removing the sprocket. Was that you Mark? |

Wes, if you wear an orange helmet, you were next to my g/f at a stop light this morning. Buells are fairly rare bikes. It's sort of cool. |

U4euh, you must have signed on just after I decided to go to bed last night. Hope everyone has a good week. Carlos is happy, he's out of the Suburban and on the bike! I bet he takes the scenic route home tonight. (Message edited by Ulywife on June 19, 2006) |

Jim, Can't find your pics (early or what?) on Killboy, but I continue the search. I found the Blasts very easy to change the tires -- loosen both ends, suspend from above, take to Indy shop,,,,$20.00 for mount/balance. G2 |

G2 - I looked also, but then I checked Jim's date of travel and the pictures are not posted for the 15th yet. Maybe they will post them this week. |

Greg, can you elaborate on that "suspend from above" part? Killboy looks like they post pictures on Wed. I'm checking every day. I did find this picture. You might not want to click on it from work. The look on the guys face is priceless. Thats the second thing you notice. http://photos1.blogger.com/img/32/7912/1024/IMG_34661.jpg |

Jim, The Blast didn't want to be lifted by any of the normal means, so we hung it (quite literally) from the barn rafters. Worked out nicely too. If you only had the accessories to do one end at a time that would work too. Two decent fold-out alum ladders and a 2X6 will work great too. I don't believe I have any pics,,,,,,it was very easy I just said "Boog, pick that up, more, a bit more, OK, hold on,,,," It was suspended :-) G2 |

Jim, I know Webe can tell you how to take off the tires... he's got my Blast up on a MC jack and both tires are off. I don't think he's changed the rear tire yet (had already ordered one before the crash)...but you could ask him. He said something about "spoons" to change the tire with... I really don't know... |

Hmmm. So I need a Boog. I may be growing one, but I think he has about 10 years to go. |

I'm a bit hesitant to recommend a Boog for everyone, but they do come in handy G2 |
