Well did anyone go to the Shark Club for a soggy Daytona party? Do tell... whad I miss? BTW, how many of us are actual card-carrying BRAG members here in BC? My membership is up this year and don't think I'll be renewing considering the lack of BRAG rides around here. Sure, Gootch says there's a Canadian BRAG ride coming up this summer. (Bout time, but I probably won't be a member by then!) |

Eric, Kim, Jim and I went to the Daytona Party on Sunday and watched the non-event. It was still good to hang out and have a few jars, eat and shoot the breeze. The place was packed and a few brave souls even rode there. I'm not sure where they came from 'cause there was snow on the road when I left the house. The Westwood Club(?) handed out their awards and there were some good door prizes - jackets, sets of tires (not the good ones though) and some grab bags. As far as the Brag membership, is there a compelling reason to join? Waiting for the sun, Harv |

I just spent some time catching up on the US Stormfront and caught the info on the Brag ride. It's sounds kinda compelling. Stu, are you going on the whole ride? Who else is in? It almost sounds like a Super Border-Raid. Harv |

Hey Harv, Sounds like a good time at the Daytona Party... like last year was. The only compelling reason to join the BRAG club is for those events such as Stu had mentioned. You've got to be a member or come as someone's guest. We have other things planned so probably won't be able to make it. (It would be totally last minute if at all, and most likely not all the way to Alberta.) LittleOne; do you plan on renewing your membership? Maybe it would be worth it if there were numerous local events through out the riding season. Do you agree? On the wet... windy coast, LO |

Yeah it would be worth it if there were lost of events and interesting rides to do other than the sea to sky ride. I don't know if i am going to renew or not. I got the membership when i bought the blast. I think that if we had a lost of events here it would be better but to be realistic we can plan trips and rides ourselves. Oh well we will figure it out soon enough. see ya |

Additude I just anted upped for a year. 62.00 bucks seems a little steep for events that all seem to happen on the east coast. I'll give it another go around. I also got a freebie membership once. Stu made it sound like something was going to get set up for sure this year. People will need to volunteer their time and energy if a Brag chapter is going to make it here. Things will only be as good as the effort people put in. Bob. |

It looks like your $62 gets you a crab dinner in Whistler, if I read the Buell.ca site correctly. I'll just count on being somebody's guest. (eyelids fluttering flirtaceously) Daytona at the Shark Club was good. Would have been a little better had the race been on but WTF. Afternoon beer has become a too rare event in my life. That needs re-evaluating. I've been wondering lately if I was losing the addiction, getting tired of riding, or maybe just tired of my ride. I used to think about bikes non-stop all day but I haven't been like that for a while. After Sunday's hanging out with the boyz, I'm thinkin' 'bout bikes 24/7 again. Just bought a set of new-style switches to freshen up the front a bit. (Those Harley boys sell black stuff for cheap when they replace it with the chrome stuff.(eewwww! Shudder!) When in May are the southern gang doing their Cascade loop? There seems to be a hell of a lot of ridin' to be done this year! |

Hey BuellBob, good to hear from you. Planning any inpromptu rides? I've got to keep my options open since Don probably won't be riding for awhile. SportyEric, I know what you mean about losing the addiction. No worries it's just a hibernation reflex... I've got the DT's real bad for riding now! All this talk is just making it worse! Soon to be riding, who's with me? LittleOne, since you're in Burnaby we better do some riding together this year! I think I've seen you around lately... if you see a big red truck waving at you... that'd be me! Ride on... LO |

I think that it is even better when we pull to a stop light and talk to each other everyone always laughs at that. Anyway see ya around |

We all want BRAG to be a reality in BC, but what we need is a few dedicated enthusiast to cover such roles as, director, assistant director, treasurer, and secretray. Deeley's House of Buell is currently a sponsoring dealership, however, the few rides we offer could be expanded with the help from our Buell ownwers. Anyone interested in the above should contact myself or Kimberly and we would be more than happy to help get you all rolling. We cant do this without your support, and I'm sure you all would like a riding group not a chat group. Anyone interested should e-mail me at stuartw@trevdeeley.com |

For all you BC riders, Deeley's House of Buell will be hosting the "Season Kick Off Ride" at 6:00pm on May 22, to the Sqaumish Brew House. At this time, I'll be looking for volunteers to take care of BRAG. I feel that with the amount of Buell owners in BC, we should be able to gather enough dedicated enthusiast to get things started properly. Thanks Stuart. |

Okay Gootch, I've marked the Kick Off ride on my calendar... lets pray for good riding weather! (And a waitress that knows what she's doing so we don't starve!) LOL. Ride on... LO |

Im waiting for answers about age requirments but Cody and I might be up for a day on the 30th. A local ysr club invited pocketbikes out for an exhibition race at Willowbrook Mall in Cloverdale. If we do come what is the most direct route to the mall from the US. Maybe some of you would like to see Cody in action. This also might be my only trip North since Cody has a race the same weekend as Border Raid. Not to worry some day the critter will be all grown up and gone and I'll return to my selfesh ways. Mike |

Mike, We would love to see Cody in action. Willowbrook Mall is less than 5 minutes from my house. Let me know when you are coming up and we can arrange to hook up. My son is 8 years old and I am hoping to get him on a dirt bike over the next year or so. He is eager but so far circumstances are keeping it from happening. Are you talking about the 30th of March? The best route is North on I 5 'til you get close to Blaine Washington, take highway 543 North to the border and that will turn into 176th Street. Continue north to Hwy No.10 and turn right (east). You will have to go about 2 miles to Willowbrook Mall which is located at Fraser Highway and No.10. Hope you make it up. I'm sure Stu, Eric and Jim would be interested as well. Maybe Stu can get the Deeley's pocket bike and have another go. Harv |

Harv- Sorry when I posted last time I called you Jim (oopsie). Got an e-mail back regarding Cody riding and he has passed the first phase, now there is just one more left. The guy organizing the race Cody will ride in said it's a go, they just need permission from the actual sponsor/organizer of the entire event. Should know more in a few days. That's cool... hope they let Cody race! Any idea on the time of the event? Harv? Mike? I'd love to come out and show some support, but if it's too late in the day I won't be able to. |
