Deer Advisory. Just a note to let you know that the deer are out and about in SE Wisconsin. I saw four fresh kills during my ride today. One on a busy County Highway (83) and the other three on the freeway. Additionally, I saw plenty of them feeding in the open fields today as well. Interesting as you seldom see them from dawn to dusk. Enjoy your time in Wisconsin, just be aware of the deer. Life's a roller coaster. Enjoy the ride!

Bummer, I'm on Course's mail list and didn't get anything about this/tonight's gathering. Can't make it, double bummer. Bill, If you want to depart from West Bend or Port between 3:00-4:30 instead of trying an intercept then let me know. FMJ, Neat. Looks like Brad has a new summer/winter project to work on.

Road -- no problem, bud -- Just look for the slightly overweight gray-haired guy (that should narrow it down). Too bad, too, as I had a Sign all made up, but CJ's comment seems right on target -- It is better to be shot from a gun than squeezed from a tube -- HSThompson

MikeJ, Good thought, but I think I am best off just making time on Hwy 41 and riding with whatever group I find headed to Appleton. I have to take Di to the airport Friday afternoon and have no clue as to how long I am going to have to wait with her. Should be leaving home around 4:00 to 4:30 if all goes well. Funny thing is, I think I am getting a better perspective on why both of my Former Brides hated playing Airport Widow. LOL Life's a roller coaster. Enjoy the ride!

It's starting to look like Marilyn will be ready in time for Friday. I was actually able to hit the starter button and run her for a few minutes. The only things left are to mount the stock foot controls (no more rearsets for now!!!!) and bleed the brakes. Now I just need to hope I get a few breaks in the rain for a couple "shake down" runs. Looking forward to seeing everybody this weekend!!!! Sweet....a signature line Racing makes heroin addiction seem like a vague wish for something salty. - Peter Egan

just stopped by the ducati event (in my jeep) @ calderone club right now downtown. Even w/this crazy rain, prob 30-35 bikes out front (and I always tease those boys for being posers! Although some of the bikes out front are demos - maybe 5?). Poster & catalog giveaways, red bull hospitality, huge red ducati semi-truck on kilbourn visible from across the river. Also their AMA hospitality is free to anyone who shows a ducati key. see you all soon, D |

The rain changed my plans for tonight...just a little bit...I still went riding (and got WET of course), but didn't make it to the Duc event. What's that old saying? Something about water rolling off a Duc's back or somethin'...Seemed kinda fitting... 1313 |
