Anyway, back to the subject here. I just wanted to tell everybody in case they were not aware, the lodge that we're meeting / staying at is in a "dry" county. "Dry" as in no alcohol is sold in that county. I know that Cherokee NC is a dry area also from a past trip there. So anyone who is planning on a few cold beers, make sure you stop & pick up your brew & ice on the way. Tracker, save some room on that trailer for a cooler, OK? |

very important notice, thanks saint. it appears the blimp should say "saintly". missing out on a cold beer after 900 miles of riding could cause a few "problems"! c'mon tramp, we've got a trailer leaving from this area, you could just through the s2 on and come for a ride. this trip is seriously cheap! don't you have a buddy who's local down there anyway! should be some good memories from this one. |

what route thru PA and what date? From Harrisburg to Hagerstown for sure we'll be on I-81. Dates are the 10th & 11th for the ride, but we'll most likely be leaving NY on Sat the 8th. Is it safe to assume you're from the Altoona area of I-99? Hope you can join us, we could join up anywhere along I-81. |

Yep, safe to assume the name (Al)Toona. One of the groups I ride with is going to Gettysburg bike week that Saturday. So don't know what my schedule would look like, atleast I would be closer to 81. Ras and the guys from the DC,VA,MD stormfront are a HOOT to ride with, hope you can get hooked up with them. Any idea on time frame when you would be getting to the Harrisburg area? Any idea on time frame when you would be getting to the Harrisburg area I would imagine that if we leave NY at approx 1 PM that we'll be going thru Harrisburgh area in the early evening. Maybe 4 - 5 PM. By the way I guess we should take a roll call. Who's joining us and If anyone is joining us on the way down, where at. We need to know where to meet people along the way. P.S. Hammer you didn't miss anything, I just cracked the whip in cornwall and the sucker stood straight up. I chopped of the throttle and down it came. 5 to 6 feet long if that. |

I have a four bike trailer for the trip. I was going to drive to Mikes and pick him up. Saintly, are you riding or jumping on the trailer? I'd like to follow the same or similar route in case anyone has problems. I'm not planning on keeping pace with whoever is riding. I don't think that would work out very well. |

Saintly, are you riding or jumping on the trailer? I'm leaving NY on the bike, I'll see how it goes from there. Mike said that perhaps I should load it up for the I-81 portion of the trip to avoid ruining my tires. Thats a good point, but I'll play it by ear. So, anyone else joining us on the way down? |

Happy 4th of July everybody!!! I received an E-mail from Ironhorse lodge to confirm my reservation and dinner for Sunday night. Not having to worry about dinner sounds cool. Anybody want to eat there? It's a good place to meet. Here's a sample menu link : http://www.ironhorsenc.com/dining.html |

tie downs are good! good story, too bad no video, the look on hammers face as he stood there with the bike lift, bike jack, and of course the bike resting on his foot! we seem to be pretty safe when out riding, its just around my house that seems to be a problem. what do they say accidents are usually close to home. |

Think my freakin toe is broke from it too. Can barely stand on it hurts like hell to walk on it ouching it is out of the question and shifting requires biting down very hard. LOL all that for some tires. |
