Jerry, PM me your address and I will send you the release form and we will take care of it. Slimey Crud run is a ride to Wisconsin. Very good time (dependant on weather) you will see bikes that you have never seen before, definately a good time. www.slimeycrudrun.com BTW, what the hell did you do to your clutch? You are the first person that I can recall who has smoked a XB clutch. |

ya that whole clutch deal of jerry's is kind of sucking. he brought it into the shop today. tore it apart and its not a good deal. when he laid it down awhile ago and broke the primary cover it broke the clutch hub and messed up the basket and all that fun stuff. couldnt really see most of it except for a few dents even with the cover off |

yeah it's depressing. i am even more depressed after i went and saw that movie "V is for Vendetta" but, it wasn't to bad.. really now, i like my new Jeep more than I like that dang bike now.. oh well, gives me reason to invest into a Cage by Powers. eBay for 260 bucks or so. protect that lower half of the bike so no more broken primary's or what have ya. bah.. oh well.. Cheers! |

Be carefull with those cages, the ones I've seen really limit your cornering clearance. Not something that I would want to hit while riding. |

Greetings All, April 1st., Brent, T.J. and I completed New Racers School with TrackAddix at MidAmerica Motorplex just south of Council Bluffs. We were all very impressed with their organization and the number of instructors. Since several of you have inquired about a track school and or track day, I’m giving you the heads up on the next opportunity for all of us. TrackAddix.com is putting on a Track Orientation School and Track Day on May 29, Memorial Day. This should work out for most of us since we’ll have the day off. Their schools are not the cheapest but they are worth it! Below are the links to their website. It would be great to get the whole group together to enjoy the day. Let me know asap if you’re interested so we can figure out schedules, transportation, lodging, etc. Track Orientation School http://www.trackaddix.com/track/events/?pview=TRA-127-2006-05-29-TOS Track Day http://www.trackaddix.com/track/events/?ride=1&pview=TRA-126-2006-05-29-TD Now for our Triumph riders, this might be of interest as well. EuroBike Day http://www.trackaddix.com/track/events/?pview=TRA-126-2006-05-01-MAM-EB Take care... Ralph |

yeah.. i am freakin out.. said i cracked a few things.. and i had them replace the clutch with a barnett clutch.. cheaper.. then they did the 5k service.. man.. i will take that powers cage now.. i don't think the cage gets in the way with ground clearance in cornering.. however.. 270 bux is allot better than 1400. jesus.. |

A few pics from our Prairie Du Chien ride today. Met up with a Triumph riders group for some spirited riding on some of the few curvy roads in Iowa.
Sorry I didn't have more. I wasn't brave enough to try and take any while riding since my camera was brand new. |

Aww man, where was this ride? Does it include Prairie du Chein Road near Iowa City? I rode that road just the other day for kicks. Let me know what your route was if you were near Iowa City/Cedar Rapids. I ride around there all of the time, and have found some EXCELLENT roads. |

Nope, Quite a ways north of there. Up to Prairie du Chein, WI. Everything is north of Hwy. 20 |

Josh, Are you on Ralph's mailing list? If not shoot him an email (click on Gearhead above). We usually go on a ride the Sunday after our Tuesday meeting (the third Tue. of the month.) I ended up riding from PDC down Hwy 13 to Mt.Vernon for my son's birthday. Had a nice 350mi. for the day. |

Not yet, but I shot him a note, so hopefully I can get in on some of these rides. I'll have to talk to him about bringing a ride down here. I have compiled a route that covers about 70 miles of good curvy roads to go about 25 miles as the crow flies. |

Sorry Jandj_davis, I've been trying to catch up on everything here, home, work, etc. I'm always up for an adventure, especially when it's just down the road. Drop me a line at gearhead@gearheadgallery.com to arrange a time to meet and try out some new roads! |

Who's going with us to the Slimey Crud Run, Sunday?? We're planning on meeting at Silver Eagle H.D./Buell in Waterloo. I'll be at the truck stop across the street for breakfast at 6:30, plan on leaving the Harley shop at 7:30 sharp. We'll be cruising through Dubuque around 9:00 and we'll be stopping at the B.P./Amoco by the bridge for fuel if anyone wants to meet up with us there. That should get us there around 11:00 and it looks like the weather will be outstanding!! |

Dmextreme, Can you head up here Saturday afternoon? Craig's got a big dyno shootout going on that day to test several Buell related add on's, ecm's, pipes, etc. There's a nice motel just up the road from Silver Eagle. It would save you a very early Sunday morning ride and you'd be fresh for the 450 mile ride which is roughly the round trip from Waterloo, there and back. |

can't make it on Saturday. I mean I will be in town. But bike will be parked at a hotel. I am going to my bro's graduation at UNI. We will be staying the night, and I will be departing from a hotel in the area meet up with ya etc. Looking through threads... turn out going to be okay? As far as the Dyno goes.. I wish, Dave hasn't ordered the Race ECM yet, and I am still talkin with Odie to get the pipe sent. So for now I am still stock. No need for Dyno yet. I guess coming real soon here in Des Moines, they have a Honda Poker Run coming up. Once I find out more about it, I will keep people informed. Guess it's a fast ride through the regional area, curves etc. I never been on one before. Couple of my buddies that drive I4's told me about it. Might be fun. NOTE: I have no clue who anyone is.. u see a cityx pull up and I have a yellow coat on.. that's me lol. Take care, see ya soon! |
