South Broward County here. Maybe a mailing list where we can get together and set up a meet. Wouldn't hurt to print up a couple of flyers as well and post them at the local motorcycle shops in the area. Heck, from what I've seen of sales at Petersons alone there has to be 20 or more of us. I was at Hooters last Wednesday night and saw a lot of bikes, but only one Buell, and it was a trailered bike brought out by the dealer. Stretch, Hooters is supposed to be pretty big. I was by it one evening about 6 months ago, looked hoppin'. So what time is good, or do we all want to ride into Fuddruckers on this coming Thursday night at say 7 PM? Obviously, Fuddruckers is much easier for me. Last time there, there were 2 other Buells, but I didn't take mine that night (had company with). Send me some pics, and I'll get us a web page for pics. Don't want to take away from Badweb, make sure you post here, but another link just for South Florida Rider's bikes! Sound good??? | ||

OK, for me. I met another guy who works up at carmax today down at the dealer. He told me about it too. I am so good with names, CRS. But I will be going down to Fuddruckers Thursday coming, if all goes as planned. I will try to make it at 7 PM, since traffic going there is pretty much a wash on Thursday coming out of Lauderdale. Good to hear though, South Florida piping up. Dave K at Pompano is doing well with the Buells, probably a partial convert at least. Rumor is he's starting up a club. He had a nasty flat in daytona that took him and his Buell down for a bit. Anyway, after he's back I'll see where he's heading. Buellclub.com is Lafayette up in Lakeland. They seem to have a very open club, and they have a sponsor, so I'm sure it can be done... There's some folks down south coming around, also. The Uly (of all things Buell) seems very popular down here. Not for me, but it is an interesting bike. Hope to see several of you on this coming Thursday, at Fuddruckers in Miami, just south of Kendall. | ||

Uber, are you riding down with a particular group to marathon? I ask because my Father and a few others are headed that way on Sunday. Most of them are cops and go on runs just about monthly. As far as I know there isn't a Buell included. Mostly cruisers and my Dad's BMW RR. NUTS | ||

Ok, cool. Went down to bike night at Fudds. Met, saw, or talked to at least 6 other Buellers. Rode with 3 others. Wow. A learning experience unto it's own. Think my rear may be slightly out of align after the tire swap. I don't know if they checked the alignment or not. Heard both a Drummer, and a race pipe, both on 9s. Sounds way better than stock. Got me thinking for sure. All in all a great time, although getting there was kind of a PITA, since traffic on i-95 was backed up and almost dead stopped. So Wednesday at Hooters, Thursdays at Fudds, weekend is still open. Maybe Holiday Park, or Flossies. Stretch | ||

Tire's fine. Last night the 9R snapped the rear drive belt. Crap! Marshall, part number??? I'm sure HD North will have it.
