Crispy critter is still waiting on parts from the Buell Company... apparently they can't send them to Wisconsin people real quick because the west coasters whine about it ?!? We will see... at least the insurance came through... |

Hey Brew Crew... My interview went really well yesterday. I hope to hear something back in a week or two... maybe even staying in Madison if I get the job (some other people are commuting in the office too)... I am keeping my fingers crossed. Char |

Excellent, good to hear. You could always split the difference and find a little place around Lake Mills or thereabouts. |

Uh, ummm, errr, CJ would be much closer for you than us up in Port. (not to mention keeping me out of trouble) How's the fire bike coming along? I've got a spare bubbled-decal tank you can use if you need one to get it back on the road sooner, no charge. The tank is kind of ugly though since I was using one as a sketch pad to test out paint ideas on. One is black, the other one white, I think both have the older breather tube style so you'd have to use the one off of your bike, and one has the ring removed from the tank as well. I forget which is which until I get home and look in the garage. Anyway, let me know if you need to borrow or have one of them. |

Greetings from Doughnut! Jon asked me to post this for him as he no longer has internet access. As you know from previous posts, Jon is moving into a house of his own. It's going to be tight money wise but just doable. Jon is in need of a few houshold necessities. He is looking for the following items. Of course cost is a concern, he's looking for functional for the short term. He needs: A refrigerator. A gas stove. A queen size matteress and box spring. Also on the "would be nice" list is a washer and drier. Nice but not necessary. So, if anyone in the area has or knows of anyone with the above items, give Jon a call. His cell is: (262) 939-3432 His other vitals are listed above. Thanks much fellow Buellers, lets see what we can do for him! Brad |

Brad: Been there, done that. E-mail me his address. I'm gonna send him a gift certificate to K-Mart. Kindest gift I ever received during a very tough time of my own life. Lots of folks doing a little bit/each can do a great deal. . . the very basis of Elves. Court |

From the Milwaukee CraigsList.com site if someone down in Racine has a pickup and can get in touch with Jonathon/Doughnut:
quote:Refrigerator -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Reply to: sale-152062683@craigslist.org Date: 2006-04-17, 7:58PM CDT I have a working, avacado green refrigerator taking up space in my garage. It needs a little bit of cleaning, but come and get it and it is yours. this is in or around North Side of Racine no -- it's NOT ok to contact this poster with services or other commercial interests

Notice: I found the can of Honda spray cleaner/polish in the garage this morning so I sprayed and wiped down the M2 before heading in to work on it. I believe this counts as washing it. So if the world comes to an end today you'll know why. Sorry, but at least a few of the bugs are well ensconsed in a waxlike substance now better to withstand the next rain ride. Have a good weekend everybody. Take care. Keep your powder dry and your socks clean. Wash your bike at least once every two years if it needs it or not. Gotta go. No, really, I gotta go, now. bye.

Hmmm, the world didn't come to an end. Apparently I can probably clean or wash the bike more often than I had thought. Hmmm, bummer. Rode in today to collect a few more bug patterns on the flyscreen. Mmmmm, good. (side note, I listed a house in Pewaukee this weekend, 2car attached garage, 2+ car detached shop garage, 2 acres. Wish I could buy it but 2 much for my budget, high 2's.) |

Mike, I also washed/polished up my bike on Thursday. It took quite a bit to polish things up. Following salt trucks in to work takes it's toll on the shiny stuff I guess... Whodu Thunk? So maybe it's because we BOTH cleaned our bikes, that the world didn't end. Lets make sure and do this again in a couple of years |

That explains it then, balanced out the implosion. Okay, sometime between April 14th-24th in 2008 will be the next scheduled bug wing waxing and bike washing. |
